The room was large enough, the supplies were sufficient, and the service staff were very kind and tried their best to meet all our needs during our stay. I have to mention Charlie, he is seriously the funniest person I have ever met in the UK. The hot tub should be the biggest feature of this hotel. My wife and I enjoyed it for three whole days and were very satisfied. The price/performance ratio is very good. The hotel is located in the middle of the two towns of Bowness and Windermere, and it is very convenient to walk to both towns. In any case, I will definitely recommend this hotel next time I come to the Lake District, or if my friends want to travel to the Lake District.

The hotel was fantastic, great location only a short walk into Bowness or 15 min to Windermere. Great breakfast , plentiful and best quality., takeaway coffee was a nice addition. Desde UAH 16.695 por nocheNo conocimos al anfitrion. Nos dejo una canasta con dulces, cafe y te. Somos tres adultos y la casa era muy comoda, pero vivimos en casas muy grandes y si vamos a un hotel siempre elegimos cinco estrellas. Esta casa tiene muy buen nivel, una decoracion sencilla pero muy bonita y todo funciona perfectamente. La ubicacion nos encanto porque buscabamos un lugar con chalets y sin negocios ni turistas, pero cerca de Windermere. Volveriamos si no vivieramos tan lejos como es Argentina.

The property is at great location. The staff is ❤️❤️. Everyone was so welcoming. Chef is so nice. We tried onion rings, cauliflower vegan curry with rice and pizza. Breakfast was so satisfying. Highlight of our trip was CAS helped us to kindly find a cab on Boxing Day when we were struggling to find transportation and we reached home safely.

Loved everything about our stay. Staff all friendly. We even stayed an extra night. Ate twice downstairs in the bar out on the terrace. Tapas were amazing. Barman a great guy, made us feel very welcome even though he was run off his feet. Loved everything about our stay. Room and ensuite were huge.

Beautiful property right on the lake. Staff were super kind, greeted us kindly when we arrived quite late into the night, printed off a happy birthday sign for my partner and sent us off with take away sandwiches in the morning (we were in a rush). Couldn’t recommend this place more!! 10/10

Breakfast menu needs to improve and they were quite mundane. The management MUST look into this as this becomes tiring to look and eat same stuff for 3 days!! The Food quality & taste were fabulous.

The large bath in our room was amazing and the view we had was exceptional, the location overall was amazing with a little walk into Ambleside and the boats on our doorstop to travel the lake.

The scenery from virtually any window was superb. The bedroom was comfortable and warm. The staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast was included which is a bonus. Food and drink available in the pub.

The staff was exceptional! Everyone went out of their way to help us and make our stay very pleasant. Our suite was beautifully decorated and the grounds are lovely (especially love your peonies)!
