Susan and Stephen were really welcoming and knowledgeable about the islands. Room was really comfortable and well equipped. There is a restaurant that serves breakfast and evening meals, all home cooked and great quality. Bonus of a lovely bar for a drink in the evening, and the views of the sunsets were amazing. There is plenty of parking and the hotel is in a great place for exploring the local area.

It's a great little place, just a short walk from the Ferry terminal. Their restaurant is closed on Sunday and Monday but there was a complimentary bowl of fruit which was a nice touch. I liked that there was a "residents lounge" which, had I stayed more than one night, I would have definitely used it more. It was quiet, comfortable and a safe place to leave my luggage after checking out for the daytime before I got my bus.

In the heart of the Hebrides, this boutique-style hotel offers individually designed en suite bedrooms all with free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, tea/coffee and DVD players. It's the best place to sleep in Tarbert. Staff super kind and professional. Delicious breakfast. Nice room: modern and cosy. Dinner at the pub was ok. Location-wise is the perfect place to enjoy the magnificent sandy beaches of Harris.

Stornoway's most historic hotel, the Royal nestles in the heart of Stornoway, beside the marina, where you can relax, enjoy the hotel's cosy character and enjoy dining in our Boatshed Restaurant or in... Very clean rooms that were really warm...just what was needed when it was below freezing outside. Great location and good views. Definitely the place to stay when visiting Stornoway.

We liked the location because it was remote, quite and beautiful, and was central to several thing. It was a short drive from Stornoway, close to some of the sights we wanted to see, and a quick shot to Tarbert for the ferry back. The staff was polite and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

Stornoway's largest hotel, Caladh Inn is just half a mile to Stornoway Lewis Ferry Terminal and less than 3 miles from Stornoway Airport. Free Wi-Fi and free private parking are available. Very nice facility, luxury stay. Room was difficult to locate, need map of hotel. Signs needed to find reception, the sign existing is in the wrong place.

Set within in its own attractive gardens, this modern 4-star hotel is ideally located on the outskirts of Stornoway, just across the road from the golf course leading onto historic Lews Castle... Everything was fine.. staff really helpful and friendly

Roddy and Carolanne were incredible hosts! They were both so professional and had one of the nicest homes I've stayed in. Roddy even offered to cook for us if we couldn't find dinner on a late night. We managed to find something else but his lack of hesitation to help us out in a pinch was so kind. I wish them all the best and wish we could have stayed longer.
