With lovely views of the Thames Estuary, this Southend-on-Sea hotel offers free Wi-Fi, treatment rooms, and free parking. Upgraded to a room with a sea view and balcony. Helped watching a beautiful sunset over Southend pier. We both had the cod and chips for dinner which was a good size. No Buffet menu due to Covid but the full English was excellent.

Situated in Clacton-on-Sea, Smugglers Cove, Clacton On Sea by Marston's Inns has a restaurant, bar, garden, and free WiFi throughout the property. Private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Didn't have breakfast as had family nearby. However we loved the restaurant for meeting up with friends/family in the area and the carvery was excellent. As was the menu, choice of drinks and staff were so friendly and appraochable. Loved having a bath - absolute luxury!

We wanted to stay in town after check out and they kept our bags again. The breakfast was delicious with great variety to select from.
