I think Mercure Amsterdam North has an excellent cost-benefit relation. The installations are very good, modern, and clean. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. It is located a few step of a metro station, which is very convenient.

We loved our stay! We actually found the neighbourhood very nice, and getting to the city centre by ferry was quick and hassle-free. Our room was very functional, it had everything we needed. I had to work remotely from the hotel, so I really appreciated the desk, the conveniently placed power outlets and USB charging spots, and the exceptionally strong WiFi (good enough for stable video calls). The shower had very good water pressure. We also really liked the breakfast buffet - we went early every day, never had to queue and could pick and choose where we wanted to sit. Last but not least, the hotel's staff was just fantastic, super helpful, personable, and professional. Overall, would definitely stay there again.

Nice and modern rooms, sparkly clean, good size. Great staff extra polite and professional, everyone very kind. Receptionist who did check in professional and super kind can be example of professionalism and kindness. Same for waitress in bar. Great variety for breakfast, quiet but close to centre, beautiful view. Would come back for sure.

Great space, a very nice bathroom. Good to stay out of the noise but close to the old city. The staff provided all the necessary information.
