Breakfast really lovely and served in a beautiful dining room. Good choice of cooked breakfast but for me the lovely plate of fruit served with yogurt and honey was my perfect start.
Loved the garden sitting there watching the dogs play and enjoying a cup of tea. Also appreciated the three lovely restaurants we were recommended and where we enjoyed our excellent evening meals.
Anna is a very special host who looked after us perfectly.

Burford is a medium sized Cotswolds town - pretty, lots of places to eat and drink, local independent shops and a good place as a base to explore the wider Cotswolds area. Burford Golf Club is very close, as is the Cotswolds Wildlife Park. Both recommended.

Burford is a great place to visit.
Burford is a great place to visit. The shops are individual and interesting and it is one of the best places for pubs with open fires in winter. It is a very attractive place with many interesting buildings. A short distance away is a wonderful garden centre. We ate one night at the Highway Inn where we were staying and the next night at the Lamb. Good meals in both.

Lovely friendly staff, they couldn’t do enough for us. Sarah sorted the rooms out. Ioan, big Jake, Ruth, Maisey and Grace were also extremely helpful in their allocated roles. Very cosy hotel stayed before only do so on our visits to Cheltenham races in the winter months.Easy to get into Cheltenham races through out short cuts across country!! The hotel is beautiful and it was such a pleasure to enjoy such an historic building which has been maintained in excellent condition. My husband says his full english breakfast was the best he has ever had. And my poached eggs were pretty good too. Our black labrador was made very welcome and even received her own sausages for breakfast! Burford is a beautiful place and we thoroughly enjoyed the surrounding area. The details speak for themselves as you explore the majestic corridor and living spaces. Many people come to the Cotswolds for a fairytale experience, and that's very much what you get here. Anna serves a delicious healthy breakfast in the mornings and makes sure you're ready for your day however she can. We all felt that the staff enhanced the stay with their friendly, attentive and professional manner. The hotel sits at the top of the main high street road so its an easy stroll down into Burford town. They had a pianist playing as we arrived and later that evening it snowed making the whole experience very festive. We will definitely stay here gain. THANK YOU .

My room was lovely and spotless with nice little luxurious touches. My bed was sooo comfortable, I slept like a baby! The food was fabulous - both my evening meal and breakfast were absolutely delicious 👍👍 Beth was really lovely and friendly, as were the young guy and girl on breakfast service (I'm sorry I didn't get their names 🤦♀️)
