We stayed here on our wedding night. The room was absolutely cute and beautiful. The room was adorably decorated by the staff, they left us some snackies and a delicious cupcake for us. Very detail oriented in their service.

The location is convenient. The House is located by canal which is quite nice view. It is specious for six of us and clean. The kitchen equipment is fair enough for us. However, the description of the Standard Apartment does not quite match with the real situation. It said on the room description is "2 bathrooms with a shower" but actually it is only one bathroom with toilet plus a separate toilet. It is not convenient for six of us and disappointed. In addition, the Standard Apartment is located at the top floor of the building and the owner said he would put some chairs on each corner of the stairs for my father, who is aged 80+, but this promise had been forgotten and the sheep stairs was quite challenging for him. Some windows are lack of maintenance and un-openable, curtain in two single bedroom is malfunction. In overall, we had a nice stay there.

Delightful location right in the center of Gouda. And such a charming house! One thing to note: it's an old Dutch house, so access to the upper floors is by steep spiral stairs. This is not a complaint, just be aware that you'll have some climbing.

The location was fabulous! We were right in the middle of the old town, right next to the town square. The Saturday market and restaurants were a stone's throw away. The apartment looks newly renovated and was clean and neat. The tiny staircase leading to the 2 bedrooms and bathroom on the upper level was an interesting feature. The beds and pillow were nice and comfy.
