The staff were fine. There isn't really any interaction with the staff as you pay through a small window in the lobby.
They offered Netflix on the tvs in our room.
The shower is good. Clean stall, nice water pressure.
In the area, there are places to eat and drink at night.

The hotel has great service and accommodated our late arrival after midnight. The rooms were clean and the staff members were very courteous. We booked rooms that included breakfast and after selecting our options the night before, they delivered the food to our room at the decided time.

Jeonju is a great place to visit for the traditional Hanok Village. Everything is in an easily walkable area if you stay in the visit or come in for the day. There are plenty of things to see, including “hidden” areas one of the free tours will show you.

Jeonju has a nice preserved hanok hood, however, it is clearly gentrifying quickly and prepared for massive tourism. The rest of the city has little interest. One afternoon to walk in the hanoks and dine should be enough.

Really neat experience to get an idea about traditional Korean architecture and clothes. Obviously, the town has modernized to have coffee shops, etc., but the buildings in the city center have been maintained in a traditional style, and the popularity of renting the traditional Korean clothing lends a unique atmosphere.
We visited the Shrine, highly recommended. Nothing exotic, but good information about that time in Korean history and some of the events that made Jeonju what it is.
Some really great restaurants, look up best places to eat in Jeonju, we tried 3 out of the top 10 and were super pleased with all 3.
The traditional Hanok was a unique place to stay that was an inexpensive way to experience a little of what traditional homes were like. Obviously converted to hotel-type rooms, but the idea was there and it was a fun way to spend a weekend.
Highly Recommend!!

This was a really great opportunity to experience a historic aspect of South Korea. I enjoyed staying in a Hanok and I did a photoshoot in the Hanbok. It was like walking around on the set of a period piece.

Jeonju Hanok Village is a really nice place to visit, don't hesitate to get lots in the small narrow streets. Take half a day to visit Jamal Mural Village, it worth it for the paintings on the houses.
To eat I would recommand Jeondong Ddeokgalbi and Veteran restaurants, first one for bibimbap and 2nd for noodles and dumplings.

Nice mid sized city with a bit of open space along the river. Jeonju Hanok Village is worth a visit. Real touristy place but loads of people dressed in Hanbok so great place for people watching. Plenty of touristy souvenir shops if thats your thing. Plenty of Westeners and Chinese tourists dressed up in Hanboks which added to the people watching experience.
It was a great time at this wonderful place. Owner was very polite, sent all details and instructions we needed in advance. Location was a huge plus since it was very quiet but also close to Hanok Village.
We had everything needed, house was well furnished, made with love and attention to small details like variety of kitchen utensils, air humidifier/purifier, capsule coffee machine, Dyson for hair (who cares about safe drying and styling), additional chargers and USB for phones, music speaker, etc.
This was the perfect location to experience Jeonju Hanok village, situated in the village itself. The room and private bathroom was beautifully maintained and clean and the host couple were so friendly and warm and especially helpful with their recommendations. Walking distance from a multitude of delicious food places but also from nambu market, gyeonggiijeon shrine, hyanggyo Confucian school and the jaman mural village and right next to the beautiful river, everything was peaceful and picturesque.
The location was great, right in the hanok village.
The house owners were so nice and helpful, we were given advice on where to go and where to eat.
We were given something for breakfast both days even though the room didn't include breakfast.
Rooms were very nice and clean, air con was strong.
I would definitely recommend coming here for anyone interested in a Hanok experience!
I love Jeonju would definitely come back in future.
Really comfortable, warm floor, peaceful, clean, futon bed to sleep in the floor, location inside a touristic area, the Hanok village, the palace, museums, rental traditional and vintage clothes with discounts if you stay in GaEunChae, and with many restaurants and coffee shops in the nearby. The wifi was really fast and every room has a small bathroom.
Nice Guesthouse in a nice area and close to Hanok village (5min walk). There is a 7/11 close (1 min walk).
The staff is friendly! We really enjoyed the breakfast (real coffee machine plus milk and delicious orange juice, eggs for fried eggs, butter jam and toast) - simple but all you need.
For 5000 KRW you could use laundry & dryer!
Owner was very friendly. Shared with us places to visit and good places to eat in half-koran half English. Room for 4 was spacious and big. The room was clean as well. Location is right in the hanok village, a very pretty place with lots of good food nearby. Owner also gladly helped us to book a taxi back to jeonju train station.
I honestly didn’t expect much of this hotel but was very much surprised how exceptional it was. It smelled SOOO GOOD in the hallways, I still can’t get that smell out of my mind 😀 the room was very comfortable and new. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. 2 minute walking distance from the hanok village, so it’s ideal!
- super comfortable yo bedding and the floor heating is such an added bonus
- clean property and modern bathroom facilities
- In the center of the gorgeous Hanok Village, easy to get around
- attentive host who provides toiletries, hair dryer, 1x chilled water bottle per person, loads of tips for Jeonju and more!
The host was very nice. Very welcoming & explained to me the facilities in detail. Breakfast was very nice, light & healthy, really enjoyed it. Location was really good! Located in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village. Surrounded by shops, restaurants, a lot of cafes & so on. Photogenic area.
Best stay ever!
The owner was really kind and helpful, she accomodate us really well during our stay.
The room very spacious so it’s very convinient for my big luggages.
The location very strategic near the famous Jeonju Hanok Village so its easy to get around by walk :)
Clean and tidy room at a good price. Ideal place if you are after somewhere to stay for a few nights. Big tv with Netflix. Typical love hotel in an area full of love hotels. Reasonably close to Jeonju Hanok Village. Easy 2-3km walk, or bus is about 500m away.
It's a small, clean, comfortable room a couple minutes walk from the traditional hanok village and faces a beautiful river perfect for long walks. Host is very pleasant and helpful and the floor heating kept me cozy in the extremely cold weather.
I liked everything thing. The location was perfect right in the middle of Jeonju Hanok Village, the rooms very clean and nice, and the host was very kind. It was fun to experience sleeping in a Korean traditional room.
-really cheap and near to 전주 한옥마을 (Jeonju Hanok Village)
-we could leave our luggage before check in
-save surroundings
-very clean, 온돌 (ondol floor heading) worked well :)
-kind host and easy communication
Really nice room for good price, perfect for short stay in Jeonju. Located a bit longer walk from Jeonju Hanok Village, but if you are lazy you can alway tak a taxi. Fun feature was LG Styler in the room.
Very comfortable hotel on a great location to visit Jeonju (Hanok village, many great restaurants, etc). The room was very clean and bathroom Incl bidet toilet is great. Free parking onsite is a plus.
I really enjoyed my authentic hanok experience in Jeonju. The owner was very kind and allowed early check-in. 😊 The room is well-maintained and very clean. The location is superb and easy to find.
Really cute guesthouse in a great location to the Hanok village and the Jeonju art village. The host was lovely and very responsive! Lots of lovely plants and nice touches throughout!
The approximate distant from hotel to Hanok village is perfect, and the I loved the good quality sheets and comfortable pillows. Receptionist is nice and welcoming.
