Everything except the shower, where I slipped on the floor right at the b beginning of turning the water on, without having used any soap at all. Luckily I did not hurt myself. The staff did supply me with a shower mat, on request, but I chose not to use the shower after my earlier experience.

Vicenza is a great city to use as a base when visiting Northern Italy. an hour from Venice, an hour from Lake Garda, and 20 minutes to Padova make it a perfect jumping off point. In addition, the city does not have the huge crowds of Milan, Rome, Florence, Venice and Naples.
I thoroughly enjoyed the architecture and wonderful mix of restaurants.

Vicenza has all the beauty and history of the great cities...
Vicenza has all the beauty and history of the great cities of the region, like Padua and Verona, but none of the tourists. It's much smaller and compact - you can walk from one side of the city walls to the other in 25 mins - but all the better for that. And the major attractions are the Palladian villas and civic buildings, both in the city and in the hills around the city, all easily walkable - no need for a car. It's a great base for exploring the other attractions of the Veneto by train: Venice in 40 mins, Padua in 25, Verona in 35 (and those are the cheaper regional trains, not the high speed Frecciarossa at 3 times the price but barely faster for these short-hop destinations). Not being a tourist hot-spot, the prices are lower: you can still get an espresso for 1 euro, and that was in the cafe (Caffe degli Artisti) next to the major draw of the Teatro Olimpico, Europe's oldest covered theatre. Superb variety of good value pizzas (and excellent beers) at the Pizzeria Vesuvio nearby. And for something different, go to the Parco Querini: an attractive park but what we didn't expect were the dozens of domestic rabbits hopping all over the place: brown, black, white, spotted, long-haired. Very surreal. Coypu too, swimming in the lake and water channels.

Vicenza is superb for about 3 day stay - to recover our tastebuds after Germany - and is charming for that period. There were a number of exhibitions and museums (and the Theatre Olympico is a must) together with pleasant food, wine and company

We were only in Vicenza for 2 full days so we went to the ticket office and purchased a pass to visit 4 museums/attractions. We used 3 on just the first day so went back for another 2 on the second day (6 in total). Each one was terrific and well worth a visit. There are endless cafes and restaurants so we were never short of somewhere to sit and relax and enjoy great food and drink. Also lots of great shops.
Our hotel was very central so everything was within easy reach. For those who record their steps each day, we did a bit over 10,000 each day - very manageable.

Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy.
Vicenza is an overlooked city in the hear of Italy. It has a wonderful selection of bars and restaurants, great museums, and incredibly kind people. The history is everywhere. Recommend visiting the numerous churches, museum of jewelry, and the theater if you have to choose just a few things. The city is walkable with many small streets to walk through while window shopping.
This is a charming B&B--room has all the comforts of a good hotel and everything is sparkling clean. The breakfast is very good, with some non-standard items. The location is perfect for exploring Palladian buildings in Vicenza. Nothing is more than ten minutes from the hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, printing tickets, calling taxis, recommending restaurants. Best choices: Il Molo, a Sicilian fish restaurant, elegant, delicious and inexpensive. And we loved Caffe Santa Barbara around the corner, open 9 am to 2 am.
This studio is cute, comfy, and ideally situated. Spent 3 nights here with my husband, and it was our favorite of all the places we stayed during our vacation. At each subsequent hotel, we joked that we missed our Vicenza apartment.
The point person was polite and professional. We opted for late self check-in and this afforded us peace of mind when our train from Switzerland wound up severely delayed.
When we visit Vicenza again, we'll definitely be back here.
Hotel located at the end of Via Palladio, right at the entrance to the Old Town.
Very good room 310, with a living room and a separate bedroom space.
Spacious bathroom with good facilities, including flashing colored lights.
Private parking right in front of the hotel for 9 euro\/day.
Very good breakfast, with a varied offer and impeccable service, the plates were filled again when they reached halfway.
The hotel's location is its biggest advantage. It is just a short walk from the entrance to Fiere di Vicenza, and it is also close to the center of Vicenza. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed, and the hotel offers a variety of amenities to make your stay enjoyable.
Overall, Alfa Fiera Hotel is a great option for guests looking for a comfortable and convenient hotel near Fiere di Vicenza.
This hostel is in a good location, close to the few sights Vicenza has to offer. The hostel is very clean, the staff very informative and the breakfast very good. The breakfast is Italian style which is mostly cakes and cookies but they also had cheese and ham. The coffee machine is good and there is cereal and jogurt. Everyone is very nice and the guests come from all over the world.
Everything. It's literally a five stars hotel masquerading as a four one. Staff is always super kind and accomodating at Every hour. Awesome parking. Classy clean rooms and beautiful roomy bathrooms. Also best continental breakfast for the price in Vicenza, I could sleep here just for that, been sleeping here for years and it never disappoints when I come to stay
Room was big and clean, so was the bathroom. Hotel looks relatively new and modern equiped. Breakfast very rich and diverse, from cold to warm dishes, yoghurt, cakes and fruit.
Bus station is in front of the hotel, tickets can be bought at the reception, to the centre of Vicenza is about 15 - 20 minutes ride. Next to the hotel is shopping centre.
If you have a car, then the hotel is perfectly located, in a nice neighborhood surrounded by several excellent restaurants and just a few minutes to big parking near historic downtown. Owner was helpful and caring. Breakfast just fine. Room was super clean, big, large bathroom, enough outlets to charge devices.
The breakfast was good for a 3 star hotel. Scrambled eggs good, bread ok, coffee so, so. All absolutely acceptable for this level hotel. Location directly across from Ederle Kaserne pedestrian gate and easy bike ride to downtown was very good. Parking tight but ok for free.
The Hotel's location was superb just off the Corso Andrea Palladio and a few steps away from the central piazza of Vicenza. The staff is quite kind and the gentleman who served me on day 2 for breakfast made a good cup of coffee. The nightly rate was inexpensive.
The room was beautiful right in the historic center of Vicenza. Cute cafe on the street level with delicious pastries. I was surprised to find a small balcony to look over the street and enjoy bustling night life.
The check-in, room services with parking, and breakfast included all went well. I especially liked that there is a spa right on site with a pool and easy access. I will return the next time I am in Vicenza.
Boutique hotel in a palazzo. All re-done. Refined, elegant, calm. Staff very discrete and efficient. Vicenza in general and this hotel in particular are a great value. Palladio's theater a must.
What a guest friendly hotel with top service. They made a late check-in possible for us. Thank you! I would recommend this place for your stay in Vicenza. The location is also good.
Great place for stay, nice garden and pool. If willing to play golf, the court is just next to the hotel.
Very easy to reach Fiera di Vicenza and City Center.
Fantastic breakfast.
Location is next door to Teatro Olympico and all the other attractions of Vicenza. It is a three bedroom apartment with private bathrooms for each bedroom.
