Great monuments, charming narrow streets, lots of flowers, excellent cuisine. But it's best to enjoy it all in the morning, before the crowds flood the streets, or late in the evening. Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day.
Rhodes is a well kept town but is very busy during the day. The archeology and the museums are the main attraction. The bus service is superb and within walking distance of the old town. The weather in May was hot at around 28° and at times quite humid. The downside has to be the cobbled streets which are difficult to walk on.

Everything was wonderful.
Everything was wonderful. However, the problem is using public transport because you don't know the exact departure and return times of the bus. Some workers are very kind, but there are also workers who do not know English and are sometimes rude. Rhodes town exceeded my expectations.
Rhodes town exceeded my expectations. I had no idea how beautiful the town would be, the people are very friendly and it is super easy to navigate! There is plenty of choice for food, cheap and expensive. Be aware of the local scams of beer/cocktails. ALWAYS ask to see prices and how much the pints are. There are a couple of establishments who trick you into a 'medium' or 'large' beer and they bring out 2L pints costing ££££.

The setting is lovely with the walls and many restaurants and places to visit. Great for walking around if you have proper footwear for cobbles. An easy ferry ride to Symi. Bed is comfortable and we had a good night sleep even though the soundproofing is poor. Air conditioning is working well. We passed by a few other boutique hotels nearby and thought Zacosta is the true low key hidden gem which we prefer. There is no real view from this hotel as it is in a Main Street with other hotels surrounding it, but there are excellent restaurants adjacent and in easy walking distances . Supermarket is opposite so any additional needs are local. Breakfast was good and the lunches you can purchase from the bar were also very good. We booked this hotel as it had a pool and sun beds, although the beach is about 10 mins away walking. Staff were very helpful

He then carried our luggages on the scooter to the house. The room is very beautifully and uniquely decorated. It matches the knight island. It has everything you would need for home. Bed is the most comfortable one I have slept on during my 14-day trip at Greece. We wish we could stay longer! It will be one of our most memorable stay.
