The unit was clean and tidy and provisioned with a range of breakfast cereals, bread and spreads and orange juice for breakfasts during the stay. There was also plenty of on site parking available. The unit was set back from the road , so there wasn't much traffic noise.

The room was very clean and the kitchen really useful. The complimentary breakfast was great since we arrived on bikes, and a good amount for our three-night stay. Juice, milk, coffee, tea, sliced bread, honey, jam, butter and cereal. We would have preferred wholemeal bread rather than white, but that’s personal preference. Close to lots of beautiful sights and pubs.

The village is very quaint, chocolate box pretty. There are very few shops in the village, but Tunbridge and Hastings are nearby.
The hotel decor is amazing, very quirky and imaginative. The bed was enormous and extremely comfortable. The evening meal was delicious. The only downside was the English breakfast, failing that would thoroughly recommend.

Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm.
Ticehurst is a lovely little place, full of charm. It has 2 really excellent country inns: The Bell and The Bull (not to be confused). Both serve great food, with The Bell adding a modern twist and The Bull going more traditional. Both are worth a visit, though I recommend pre-booking.

There is a need to improve and upgrade the facilities and in particular to provide and much more substantial and varied breakfast.
I realise the room is trying to give a 'shabby chic' appearance, but the layout and facilities in the room need to be overhauled.
The office staff were extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The on-site restaurant was excellent with a varied and interesting breakfast menu, with gluten-free choices. We had small children and babies in our party and the restaurant owners were very understanding and helpful. Good forest walks and bike rides on the doorstep and a good pub, The Bell, in the nearby pretty village of Ticehurst. Would definitely recommend a stay at Flimwell Park.
We were attending a wedding at The Bell in Ticehurst so needed accommodation nearby. The Cherry Tree Inn is about ten minutes walk away, so ideal. It's a picturesque pub with good, traditional food, a friendly welcome, a great outside area and plenty of parking. It's unfussy and popular with locals. Room was clean, reasonably modern and nice and quiet. I was concerned mattress might be too firm, but good sleep said otherwise. Breakfast was prompt and tasty
Booked a log cabin for 4 people for one night, needing a base to travel into Hastings. Very comfortable, a lot more interesting than a hotel room. Very easy to get to Hastings - around 25 mins drive. Facilities were clean, basic breakfast items provided in the property (milk, cereal etc) which was very nice inclusion of the price. Car parking also plenty of space. I would absolutely stay there again, and would happily do so for multiple nights.
Breakfast was delicious with a good choice. We ere able to choice a cooked breakfast choice and then there were other bits we could help ourselves to.
We stayed in the Annex area and our room was a fantastic size which included a lovely balcony and a view on the golf course.
We didn't dinner at the hotel but we had drinks in the bar while watching the rugby and the staff were lovely and friendly.
The hotel is in a very busy road and parking is difficult. However the hotel is superb. The staff are excellent. The restaurants has a lovely atmosphere both inside and in the incredibly beautiful gardens. Dinner and breakfast were both completely delicious and we had a room like an oast house in the garden which was wonderful with its own little patio. A really superb place to stay.
The staff were all very friendly yet professional, the hotel is comfortable and there are lovely views across the golf course from the bar and restaurant. We were upgraded on arrival to an executive room which was very spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Food in the bar and at breakfast was good, all in all we had a very good stay at Dale Hill and will definitely return.
The photos don’t do justice to just how lovely this little cottage is, it was much bigger than expected with a really well equipped kitchen, very clean, lovely setting and a short walk into Ticehurst village. The owners even left us a fresh loaf of bread, eggs, bacon, milk and cupcakes which was a lovely touch! We would recommend and would definitely stay again
Such a lovely night away. Pub has a lovely atmosphere, very busy and the tasting menu was delicious. Room was spacious and very clean with lots of lovely thought out bits, can definitely feel a lot of thought has gone into the rooms. Everyone we met was very friendly, especially Oscar who served us, what a star!
Would love to stay again!
A quirky little pub hotel with great staff and very dog friendly. Although the room was billed as a "small double" it was quite large and comfortable. The breakfast was substantial and our dog even received a sausage! We ate in the restaurant on both nights and thought the menu, although quite limited, offered reasonable value for money.
Always loved eating at the Bell so thought we'd try it for a night while visiting Bedgebury lights. Rooms are as cool and quirky as downstairs and excellent for the price. Unfortunately we were in a room at the front which suffered from road noise which started at 5am and obviously increased during rush hour. Other than that, all good.
I was working late at the Priory Ticehurst, I am a mental health manager there
Meeting on Thursday went over time
Weather was atrocious...I live in Kent
Last minute booking at Dale Hill allowed me to stay over locally
Great reception staff
Great food
Wine was very expensive
£ 9 per glass of wine...only negative
The fridge was, amazingly, well stocked. There was every type of toiletry, imaginable, supplied for our use. It was, perfectly, clean, with no noise, @ all from passing traffic. I was staying, to attend my daughter's wedding in Ticehurst. It was, beautifully, furnished with a 'heart' theme, throughout. It was perfect.
We had a lovely time staying at the Forest Edge Hotel in one of their Chalets. The owner was very friendly and ready to help with anything we needed such as extra blankets etc. There are plenty of things to do and places to visit a short drive away. We are looking forward to staying again in the future.
Anne was a very friendly host.
We had a welcome pack of a loaf of bread, butter, bacon and eggs upon arrival which was marvellous. The beds were incredibly comfy.
Beautifully positioned to explore Ticehurst and the
surrounding area.
I enjoyed the entire experience of staying at The Bell. Rooms, restaurant, staff, pub and the beautiful back garden patio were all lovely. Large parking lot behind the property.
