A warm welcome from the staff, and though we arrived ahead of our check in time we were made confinement the bar and given a complimentary drink each.
The hotel is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the decor very ‘boutique quirky’ which we loved. The air con was an absolute bonus as we would have been too warm otherwise. Lovely soft towels and great toiletries in the bathroom, crisp bed linen in the bedroom and a good selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate with home made biscuits in the tea and coffee nook in the room.
The breakfast was magnificent and we ate well in the restaurant on the two nights we were there. The staff were very friendly, efficient and attentive and we thought it was excellent value for money.

The property was a 10 minute taxi journey to the centre which was brilliant! The apartment was clean and spacious; the host provided all the information needed to enter the property and was quick to respond with any questions or queries that I had before my stay!

The historic area of town is pretty and well served with outdoor and indoor eating areas. There no loud night time music at Bank Holiday weekend.
The are some modern shopping centres. There are plenty of well maintained green areas. There doesn't appear to be any local buses around the town. There is a train station. I walked 4 Km on Saturday morning doing some emergency shopping after Ryanair lost my luggage. I would have gladly taken a local bus if there had been any. It could be a nice base to explore the area if you are driving.

Great experience, went to see grandson in show, but decided to stay overnight. Great place to walk round, nice architecture and variety of shops - scotney castle 10 minutes away
One on the best places to eat from all places I’ve visited - the grill restaurant at the barn. Excellent food and great value, if I lived locally it would be weekly visit without a doubt.

Pleasant town for sight seeing.
Pleasant town for sight seeing. Good transport facilities by local transport. There are a reasonable number of eating places and the usual Coffee chains offering refrehments. The Pantiles is the usual visiting spot for small shops and antiques. There is a central Railway with connections all over the country. Has bus and taxi services too. There is a local library in the town centre with an interesting museum. There is an extensive shopping mall as well. There are some parks and some hills that could be explored, all near the centre of town

It is a very interesting town. There are many fascinating buildings dating from the Georgian period, including the Pantiles.
The shopping area, although small, has several quality outlets.
The general vibe of the town centre is very good especially at night.
Of course, Tunbridge Wells is set amongst beautiful Kent countryside.
A great place to visit.

Despite the early morning cleaners - the noise was intolerable and we could have done with a lie in, considering we didn’t have to check out until 11 - we left by 9! We only had one night booked but expected more . For the price, breakfast should have been included .

We were greeted at this lovely cottage conversion by our host, who explained where everything was and what to do in the event of anything not working or other questions. The exceptionally well equipped kitchen had everything we needed to cook an evening meal and breakfasts. The two single beds were very comfortable and wfi included was useful to find things to do and see.
The property is within a short walk of the Pantiles and the town, and is a good base for trips to many National Trust properties such as Chartwell.
The Spa Hotel is a short and pretty walk from Tunbridge Wells' central Pantiles shopping area and the fantastic Thackeray's restaurant.
The hotel room and bed were very comfortable with a large bathroom and soft pillows. Staff left a card and chocolate fudge with good wishes for our anniversary in the room.
The grounds are beautiful and the tennis court well kept and very convenient, yet not overlooked. The pool is small and cool but lovely for a dip, with sauna/steam rooms/changing rooms/gym all convenient.
We were called beforehand to tell us that the kitchen was closed due to Covid. So we were not allowed in the public areas. The skeleton staff were very helpful but the price of the hotel includes access to the other spaces, so it didn’t feel worth the money. ‘Luckily’ the toilet in our room didn’t flush so we got an upgrade to a much larger room with a fabulous view. It would have been pretty desolate if we’d had to stay in the small room overlooking the road!
I liked the intimate atmosphere of this small Hotel. The staff were helpful, friendly and waiting of tables at mealtimes was accomplished speedily. Lovely breakfast and a good selection of beverages available in the room. I liked that there were local green spaces to walk to and the Pantiles and shops were not situated far away.
Location was excellent. Next to the pantiles.short walk to city centre.
Hotel was spotless.every area in the hotel was very impressive. Very comfortable bed and great bathroom with walk in shower.
Staff at reception and breakfast were extremely helpful and friendly.
The location is great and the hotel feels lovely. It's clearly a very popular stay. The small pool and access to the sauna and steam is also great. We enjoyed the breakfast which came with a lot of options. The bed was comfortable and the shower very powerful.
Very good breakfast, good choice and plenty there. The grounds were wonderful with lots of wildlife. Staff were friendly and helpful and room was clean and modern. The safe was also handy.
Also liked happy hour, not many hotels willing to sell cheap drinks.
Lovely hotel to stay at ,friendly reception staff ,excellent value for money , very clean , comfortable rooms , lovely food , breakfast was really good , all staff were friendly! Parking at the property was a bonus ! Would definitely stay again
The restaurant menu was small but spectacular. The Regency atmosphere of the hotel was perfect - little winding staircases, polished chrome water pipes in bathrooms, smiling staff and world-class 'people watching' tables facing the Pantiles.
Cosy hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable with fast wifi. I really liked the fact that breakfast is inclusive & the breakfast room is very large. Staff all friendly and helpful.
Quirky theme and provides something different to your standard hotel and restaurant. The food’s delicious, and the hotel’s in a really central location just behind The Pantiles
Lovely hotel very friendly staff, room was lovely and beds very comfy , we had a lovely evening meal delicious and breakfast was amazingly tasty can’t wait to stay again x
Lovely setting and the cottages are newly built, so was very clean.
Access to washing machine and dryer.
Pet friendly (cottages only, not in main hotel).
