Everything you would need was provided. Martin was a lovely kind and considerate host. We were a little late arriving due to traffic jams but he still stayed up to to greet us and make sure that we knew the way to the cabin. Great views across the fields with the sheep keeping us company when we were having a drink outside. Also a very short drive into Glastonbury town which we were visiting for the dragon festival. The skylight was a real novelty and eye masks were provided to stop the early morning light from disturbing sleep.
Beautiful town. Love the vibrations of the place. A A must visit to the Abbey, Chalice Wells and Tor.
Fabulous healing place-The goddess house healing.
The crystal man and figaro for crystals.
Earth fare - perfect place for organic groceries.
Imaginarium for little trinkets
Eliachi - for Indian food.
Also included a place for massage.

We were there as a base for a friends wedding.
We were there as a base for a friends wedding. It's a lovely town. The Abbey is well worth a visit and there's also the Tor and Chalice Well...the town is good for mooching about as well and there's a really good Italian restaurant called GIGI's which we enjoyed.

Glastonbury is as you would expect it to be, quirky and friendly.
Everything shut earlier that I am used to in London.
There's a great fish & chip shop.
All in all I was happy to find the locals really lovely & helpful.

The attractions are all close to each other and walkable...
The attractions are all close to each other and walkable without needing transport. The Chalice Gardens are a serene and wonderful place to visit and definitely recommended. The waters are highly rich in iron and can be drunk in small amounts from the lion's head fountain (tested for potability). It is possible to paddle in the water due to its legendary healing properties. I would have visited the White Water Spring also, but it was closed on the day we visited as it is volunteer run and depends on their availability. The town is very interesting, especially if you are into crystals. We had lunch in one of the many restaurants, cafes and bistros. A climb up the Tor is a must for the view from the top. There were three musicians making music in the tower and it was wonderful, it made my whole visit perfect. A visit to Glastonbury is as magical as its legends.

I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old.
I've visited Glastonbury many times and it never gets old. There is something very unique about this place. Embrace the quirkiness, enjoy the history, amble around the shops full of all things 'witchy' and have a pint at the pub. You won't regret it.
Property is a lovely old Manor House with lots of character. So if you are expecting a purpose built modern hotel with no soul, this is not for you. It is set in a peaceful village 5 mins from Glastonbury. Lovely view from our room at the back of the property. Slept really well as no traffic noise. Hosts were friendly and professional. Breakfast choice was very good and would recommend mushrooms on toast if you are vegetarian. Husband had bacon toastie with bacon good perfectly. Parking on site out the front makes carrying bags in easy.
The room was perfect with a comfy bed, fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, along with a private back terrace where you could sit out for meals.
Our landlady, Bridie, was very friendly and considerate, offering us a plentiful and healthy packed breakfast to eat whilst we waited in the queue to get into Glastonbury Festival, since we would be leaving in the early hours and would otherwise have missed breakfast.
All round, just what we needed before our five days of camping!
Jen & Jamie have created a lovely friendly, well-appointed 'home from home' which will be my 1st choice the next time I'm in Glastonbury (rather than chain hotels). It's cosy, clean, with a lovely bathroom (bath and separate shower), comfortable and welcoming. The lovely welcoming note and extras in the fridge etc. were a very nice surprise & much appreciated. Meeting Jamie as I left was a nice end to the visit. Look forward to the next one :-)
Martin and Sarah have really thought of every tiny little detail to make your stay comfortable. It's like a home away from home, and I always look out for it when I'm booking for the Glastonbury area, although it's usually fully occupied, which isn't surprising. Well stocked kitchen with all utensils and a good selection of breakfast ingredients, they even give you mini toiletries like an upmarket hotel!
Ancient pub/hotel in the centre of Glastonbury - loads of history associated with this place. Paid the extra for a "four poster" room - well worth it as it was a great room - good sized room at the front of the building.
Good beer and plenty of cubbyholes to enjoy, also outside area was mainly under canvas canopies which was good.
Good helpful staff.
Didn't see any ghosts!
The situation of the hotel is perfect in the center of the town & close to everything.
The staff of the hotel was really nice & helpful. I really loved the lady taking care of the breakfast, she was so nice & welcoming, such a pleasure for every morning! Also the room maid was so nice & adorable, I had such an amazing stay in the wonderful town of Glastonbury ! :)
owners, location. for people seeking a taste of Glastonbury vibes, this is a perfect stay. Tor runs tours of the area and other sacred locations such as Stonehenge and Scotland. perfect for overseas visitors seeking knowledge, but not if you want luxury hotel experience. perfect for the young, and people with open minds
Lovely clean hotel room which was large. You are right in the centre of Glastonbury, and there is a large paid car park behind the hotel. Breakfast was spot on, with a good variety to choose from.
Each of the rooms is named after a headliner of Glastonbury :-). Perfect for a short stay and great location.
I had a wonderful stay at this B&B! The host's hospitality was top-notch, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was delightful. Its central location made exploring Glastonbury a breeze. This place perfectly fits the bill for a short stay, and I look forward to returning next May. Highly recommend!
If you're unsure about anything in Glastonbury, Jeremy and Claudie have a long list of hidden gems to keep you adventuring day after day. A very clean space, in an incredible location, with very supportive home keepers, I really enjoyed and loved my stay at Stargaia Retreat. And the views! Stunning.
Peaceful quiet location. Comfortable and spotlessly clean. Welcome pack of bread milk and other condiments really appreciated..very thoughtful. Sian was very helpful and communication responses were quick and efficient. Thanks for a fabulous stay. Bus nearby to Glastonbury was very handy!
This place is wonderful.its very clean and the decor is of a high standard it's situated right in the heart of beautiful glastonbury.for the price it's above and beyond what I was expecting,I will definitely be coming back .
The Crown is right in the Main Street of Glastonbury. I stayed in the Bob Marley room and it was very quiet even with the hotel downstairs. The staff were fabulous and so helpful. The food was good and coffee great.
Centrally located in the middle of the high street in Glastonbury with on-street free parking just one block away. Able to easily come and go at our discretion and the host was attentive and very pleasant.
Clean and comfortable, two bathrooms, beds very comfortable. Very central, only 2-3 minutes walk round the corner to the abbey and centre of Glastonbury, Dedicated parking place outside the mews.
Wonderful location in the centre of Glastonbury with multiple rooms. We had the loft with ensuite and kitchen facilities that suited our short stay perfectly. Clean and comfortable.
the apartment was very clean and well organised and we had everything we needed. Good sized and warm beds - there was snow outside! Great location near to the center of Glastonbury
Had an amazing, comfortable stay here . Thank you to Tony and the staff. This place is up there with the 5 star hotels I have stayed at in terms of comfort and service.
