The airport transfer was a big plus, as I had a hard time imagining dragging my suitcase, even though it was supposed to take about 10 minutes on foot.

We were a family of 5 and there was lots of space for us all. Having two bathrooms, a dishwasher and laundry facilities was a real bonus. The pool is great to cool off in. Vairea was a fantastic host allowing us to check in early, extending our stay and she went out of her way to help us when our flights home were cancelled.

If you are motivated there are very small islands close-ish with not too many people. The location of the Lodges on Tahiti makes these properties very special. it takes you 1h to Papeete, 2min to Taravao, and 25min to Teahupoo.
