We stayed here for a week and felt like we were in a paradise. Bed is extremely comfortable. Kitchen is well stocked (even has a blender). Right beside the horse riding tours. Pilar is a SUPER amazing host. She was responsive so helpful with anything we needed. Her cleaner Kenya is also wonderful! Every day until 1/2 pm, we had this gorgeous beach to ourselves. The swing is a nice touch by the way. After 5 pm when the day trippers went home, it was just us and the locals. Be mindful, cash is king! There’s no ATM here. Most restaurants take cash and they close around 5 pm. Stock up on groceries in Boca. You can hike to Quimixto for some small groceries (that’s what we did). It’s a 45 min relatively easy walk through the jungle.

A minimarket is available at the holiday home. The host was excellent. Very quick to reply. Convenient garbage pickup every day and water pickup every second day. Pool and outdoor areas were excellent and usually very quiet. Quiet at night to sleep. House was very nice and roomy for 6 people. Markets and pharmacies close by with excellent produce, bread, and all essentials. Excellent doctor and dentist close by.
