The pool was always clean and the rooms were cleaned daily, and they were very clean. Also the breakfast was good, made everything we wanted to eat.

The location is good, out the gate and a few minutes to the left is the beach & a few minutes to the right is the main road & a supermarket across the road. There's a guard at the gate all night. The shower is good & powerful. It's homely. I didn't take my photos but the pics on booking.com are realistic.

The beds are comfy, there are modern AC units in the bedrooms and the pool and outside sitting areas are private and luxurious. We couldn’t believe our luck in finding this place. It is a quick Tuktuk ride to most amenities and just around the corner from the cave restaurant (also a short walk from the Stilts Treehouses where they feed bush babies at the pub every evening). Dario was a wonderful host and Faith ensured we had everything we needed, including booking excursions and transportation from Mombasa. Stay here!!

Free private parking is available on site. We had a great five day stay at Aestus Blue Villa. We had the pleasure of chef service from Hesbone - Hesbone and his food and kind being was a large part of our experience. Same for Rosie, who took good care of us and replied to our many questions. Hesbone makes great local dishes with a twist of good humour. The villa is really nice. Two large bedrooms with a double bed and single. And on 1 floor 2 large double beds (in the same room). Three terraces. Pool is clean and cleaning service very thorough. The location is good - it is very quiet. Although I first 2 nights we had some youngsters who borrowed daddy’s car and money, who were partying heavily because of festival. Luckily they left and we could feel the calm of the place. The location is not good for going to the beach, the sand road there is not nice. Either way I would recommend going to Beach Clubs or Beach Cafe’s as there is a lot of souvenir sales and trips to all kinds of things = all the time - you cannot walk by yourself. Personally I never buy anything on the beach - you buy = you support = the next tourist gets same experience and cannot be left alone. I have great respect and understanding for the people trying to sell - they are not to blame, so they deserve respectful decline. The Diani Beach is very nice compared to Watamu. Would we visit Aestus again if we get the chance. Definately.

The house was exquisite- tastefully decorated, clean and with all the amenities we needed to enjoy our family vacation. The house was large enough to fit a large party! The beds were super comfortable and each bedroom had a beautiful view of the ocean and the large doors to let in a cool breeze which made it unnecessary to use the air conditioner! The hostess was exceptional - she connected us with a chef who made delicious meals which we enjoyed in the gazebo. She also connected us with various activities in the area such as golf in the spectacular Vipingo golf club. We cannot wait to get back! Best holiday house I’ve ever been to✨✨✨
