Everything! The host was super nice, I had made a mistake about the dates and i was able to change it on the fly. I have to highlight, of course, the amazing hot tub, what a treat :-)

Beautiful house tucked away (we chose it as it was in a dark spot and we hoped to see the Northern Lights) but not far to nearest shops. Clean, tidy and felt homely. Comfy beds and sofa beds, good showers. Enjoyed the hot tub. We brought our own breakfast as we knew the house was isolated. We did use tea bags provided. Spent the next morning at the Secret Lagoon which is about 4 minutes away - highly recommended.

Just 15 minutes’ drive from Geysir and 18 km from Gullfoss Waterfall, this property offers modern cottages with free WiFi as well as a restaurant open all the year and hot baths.

I really like the location of this place, it was very close to the Geysir and Gullfoss waterfall. Nice, quiet area. The house itself was great and had everything we needed, like kitchen appliances. The house was already heated up before we arrived which was very nice. Communicative host and very smooth check-in. There was a shop inside the reception which was also very useful. The one thing I regret is that we didn't have enough time to enjoy the hot tubs which were available as well :) Totally worth the price :) I recommend Úthlíd Cottages!

Amazing location, it is remote, but there are great signs so it is easy to find. Really comfortable house with everything you could need. Really clean and cozy.

We really loved to stay in this holiday house. The house was located in a beautiful and peacefull area. The view was great. The holiday house is between the Secret Lagoon that we visited and the village Selfoss. The holiday house was complete with own kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, it had all the facilities we needed. Even more than we expected. It was super clean and everything was new. The hostess was very kind. We can recommend this holiday house.
