Really nice cottage on the lake off the main road. The location is very quiet. We had an issue with the shower that I messaged the host and someone was knocking at the door to fix it within 15 minutes in the middle of a snow storm at 8:30pm so that was really amazing. There was also oil and salt & pepper we used for cooking which most places don’t provide. The man that came to fix our shower also came in the mornings to shovel the snow off the porch and make a pathway to our car. Highly recommend this place !

This little house cannot be called luxury, but it is incredibly cozy. We had the best three days of our 2-weeks journey around Iceland in this place. It is especially well equipped with every little detail to make you feel at home and relaxed. The kitchen has everything one might think of. Small but very cozy bedroom, where you feel like in a cradle and don't want to leave. Thank you very much to the owner who has thought of everything with love and care! Very much recommended!!!

Nice cottage in a great location. We arrived late in the evening and it was warm inside and the lights were on so it was very easy to find. That was a great welcome and we enjoyed our stay very much, we had everything we needed.

The room was a bit cold in the evening, but got warm over night. One window leaked a bit of air, dropping cool air down on the bed, so I stuffed a pillow up in the window, for more isolation. In the morning I felt i needed more AIR, so I just removed the pillow. =D There were extra blankets, to keep me warm. The shower was good, warm water came fast. The place had a fridge, which is always a plus, and especially here, as you have to make your own breakfast.

Set along the Seydisfjordur Fjord, these cottages are less than 3 km from the town of Seydisfjorudur. Each offers impressive panoramic views and a large terrace with an outdoor hot tub and BBQ.
