Self catering delighted with food provided, location was lovely as house was very quiet and views were lovely. We loved the comfortable beds and pillows had a brilliant night sleep, the bedroom downstairs was ideal for my disabled mother. The shop in Kilgarvan catered for our needs and we enjoyed walking around Kenmare which is in close proximity.

Everything was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless, super clean and taken care of down to the last detail. The host was incredibly kind — he came to greet us in person and made sure we had slept well and that everything was okay. We felt so welcomed and looked after. They also left us a paper full of great recommendations: restaurants, breakfast spots, activities… even their personal phone numbers in case we needed anything! You can really tell how much they care about their guests. Our stay couldn’t have been better. I would come back without a doubt!

Gorgeous location, our lodge was just fabulous, great bed, shower, view and loads of wee extras that just made the place and stay so wonderful… the scent in the room, homemade scones, fresh milk, robes, toiletries, was all just fantastic.

We had a wonderful stay! Brendan, the host, was easy to communicate with and always available if needed, making everything seamless. The house itself is a traditional country home—basic yet impeccably clean and fully equipped with absolutely EVERYTHING. It’s incredibly spacious, with a large kitchen featuring a big table, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer, and more. Anything you could possibly need is provided. It was just me and my partner, so we only used one room, and the bed was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower rooms are simple but spotless, with plenty of towels and toiletries provided. A special highlight was the lovely fireplace—it added a cozy charm to the stay and was an extra bonus we thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re looking to stay in a traditional Irish home with all the essentials, this is the perfect place to book. Brendan was a pleasure to deal with, and we would definitely stay here again!

Everything! This is a beautiful and comfortable home away from home. Well equipped, spacious, warm, clean, with lots of attention to detail. David was extremely helpful and thoughtful, as well as interesting and charming, and very ready to act on any small problem, such as the coffee machine not working. Beautiful cottage, colourful and fun! Designed to make you feel special and smile. Fun, quirky cheeky design from top to bottom. It's great to see old builders given new life.Private, covered over hot tub off the kitchen is a lovely treat. This was our second stay and I can guarantee there will be a third.
