Our stay in the Faroe Islands was unforgettable, mostly thanks to this accommodation. The house is truly homely, authentic and perfectly integrated into the surroundings – we felt like part of the local story. The location is excellent, ideal for exploring the island and enjoying the peace and nature. Everything was tidy, warm and comfortable, and the hosts were extremely hospitable and ready to help with advice on excursions and local experiences. Wonderful house with everything we needed as a family with children. The location was perfect in relation to the ferry departure to Streymoy/Torshavn. Fine shopping opportunities a stone's throw away and a short distance to wonderful hiking routes. Super friendly host. Highly recommendable.

The cottage is peacefully located with a beautiful view of the sea and a small lake (and even some sheep). We found the apartment clean, very spacious, cosy and very well-equipped. Additionally, the big Jacuzzi as well as the private sauna were great assets. The communication with Jakup and Martin was brilliant. They responded very quickly and all our wishes were realized perfectly and moreover, right away. We really enjoyed our time at Sandur and are looking forward to return someday!
