El Maitai Rangiroa se encuentra entre las localidades de Avatoru y Tiputa, en uno de los lagos más grandes del hemisferio sur. We visited Rangiroa for the scuba diving and loved staying at the Maitai. It has a good location that is private and easy to use a taxi to get around. The excursions we took picked us up at the hotel for no additional charge. A supermarket is located right next door which is so convenient. We spent many evenings watching the sunset from the pool area and especially the dock. The room was spacious, clean, and comfy. The breakfast was included in our plan with was good having a large buffet. The food was good at dinner and a fairly good variety. We were welcomed by everyone that we encountered on the staff.
