These hard working people and their outstanding building and surroundings really need more international visits. So, if you’re in the market for a Adachi museum visit. Please consider this ryokan as your stay. I would recommend a 2 night stay as you can explore the temple grounds and unwind. In other words; It’s been absolutely perfect. どうもありがとう。

The staff were so welcoming and the location was beautiful. Day 1 we explored Mihonoseki, day 2 was an easy drive to Yuushien gardens, Matsue Castle and the Adachi Museum of Art. Traditional rooms with a view over the bay. The dinner and breakfasts were outstanding...a must if you love seafood! We highly recommend staying at Fukumakan - it has been a highlight if our trip!
