The rooms were spotless and well-maintained throughout our stay. A big thank you to the ladies who cleaned the rooms — they were kind, efficient, and always had a smile on their faces. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed. A special mention must go to Fabricio at reception, who was without a doubt the best receptionist we've ever met. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of, helping with everything from local tips to making sure our needs were met. His professionalism and friendliness truly made a difference. We would gladly return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great stay!

Rooms at the San Bosco Inn feature bright functional décor and cable TV. All rooms have a private bathroom with free towels. The staff were great, the breakfast was really good, the pool was nice. The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable.

Surrounded by 860 private acres of tropical rainforest and featuring an on-site lake, a swimming pool, a sun terrace and games room, Arenal Observatory Lodge & Trails is located within the Arenal Conservation Area, only 2.7 km from the Arenal Volcano. I wanted accommodation were we could see plenty of wildlife and be surrounded by nature. Arenal Observatory Lodge exceeded out expectations. We saw beautiful birds everywhere along with other wildlife. We considered the drive back to La Fortuna to be relatively easy, so did not mind that it was a little bit out of the way. Excellent breakfast and very accommodating and friendly staff. Highly recommend that horse trek here as well.

Villas have a kitchenette and lounge. The standard and superior rooms are set in different areas of the property. It was absolutely stunning. The hot springs were endless and super clean and private! My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. We felt so relaxed and well taken care of.

Each room features tiled floors and comes with a desk, coffee maker and cable TV. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and shower. The garden is a piece of paradise, well maintained and colorfull. The hotel was not crowded, we could enjoy the facilities on our own. The decors are nice.

Each accommodation at the 3-star hotel has mountain views and free WiFi. The property is allergy-free and is situated 4 km from Kalambu Hot Springs. The breakfast was next to the property, and it was in the forest and very quaint. I loved the vibe, and we felt almost bad that it was included in our price! We were getting a ton for our money!

This 3-star hotel features free WiFi and a bar. The property is non-smoking and is located 43 km from Edgardo Baltodano Stadium. After a month in Costa Rica, this was one of our highlights. It is a beautiful, well kept property. We loved the main eating area and cabins. The chocolate tour was wonderful! We enjoyed the area and walked the trails- lots of birds! Even the gift shop was good - with reasonable prices!

The farm stay has a year-round outdoor pool and sun terrace, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. Free private parking is available on site. We stayed at Finca Nueva for 2 days. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! ROOM: Apparently we booked the best room (the Dome) that I highly recommend. It wasn’t more expensive than other rooms. It’s basically a huge bungalow with its own secluded garden. The room was huge and the interior was very unique. Very clean and cozy. There was a little kitchenette outside the bungalow with a tea pot/coffee maker/fridge with complimentary home brewed kombucha and homemade herbal tea. PROPERTY: this was what amazed as the most. This eco-friendly hotel is located on a few acres of rainforest. Their property included: a farm and a garden where they grow veggies, herbs, fruits, cocoa beans, tea, coffee, ginger, vanilla beans and DOZENS of other species if plants and beautiful flowers, a bamboo tower, a pool and a few MILES of trails through the rainforest that are perfectly maintained. They also offer tours like chocolate, coffee, animals/birds-watching tour that are highly rated but unfortunately they were fully booked so we couldn’t go. Also, they had an amazing yoga pavilion right next to our bungalow that we used a lot. During our stay we saw a sloth, agouties, toucans, parrots on the property. FOOD: Farm to table. They don’t have a set menu. Every day they decide what seasonal food they’ll serve based on what’s growing on their farm. They also prioritize buying from local farmers. Literally everything is homegrown, homemade and tastes delicious: bread, milk, kefir, butter, tea, chocolate… During our stay both breakfast and dinner were buffet style. Most delicious and healthy meals we’ve had in Costa Rica!

Mei Tai is a gorgeous property with hiking trails, beautiful jungle, and freshwater ponds. The casitas have everything needed for a perfect stay. We had a delicious patio breakfast each morning overlooking the rolling hills and ponds. Daria and Sydney were so friendly and accommodating. We loved our stay.

Super friendly staff who can assist with bookings and recommendations. Really easy to communicate via whatsapp. Seemed to be the best hotel in La Fortuna from what we saw.
