Perfect location. 3 minutes of walk to the bus station to take the bus back to Taipei (or the arrival station of the bus from Alishan). The Sun Moon Lake is right outside the hotel's restaurant. Good selection of breakfast but mostly Chinese style. The room is quite small, but understandable. The staff can speak English.

Great 24hr lobby service. Stayed in a dormitory room that fits 12, so depends on your luck it may be a peaceful or noisy sleep. Great staff, great location next to station but quiet, 12 min walk to nearest night market. Excellent value for money, breakfast is ok (the usual stuff). The staff really are helpful, we very much appreciated when they helped us with our luggage and we got upgraded to a family room for free!
