Personnel in the reception was polite. The property is FAIRLY priced for what it offers. Renovation is necessary in the bathroom BUT there is no problem at all.Beds are comfy,towels,soap etc is provided Taking into consideration the pricing i am happy of my stay. There are many TOXIC and bad reviews for no reason. If you want more pay more and stay somewhere else. cheers

The location is excellent, it only takes about 2 minutes to walk to the lake. The staff are extremely helpful. I will definitely recommend here to others.

The manager, Robin, is very friendly and helpful. He even managed to get some last minute tickets for us on a cruise to Doubtful Sound for the next day. The room we stayed in was new with first class facilities. - the best we have stayed in so far during our tour of NZ. We are very happy to recommend this motel.

Set in beautiful garden surroundings, this B&B is only 100 metres from the shores of Lake Te Anau. Each room includes cable TV, electric blankets and tea/coffee making facilities.

The hosts were really nice and made a great breakfast. The rooms were clean and had a good size. One room even had a small kitchen area and fridge. We enjoyed our stay there very much.

Just 5 minutes’ walk from Lake Te Anau, The Village Inn features a restaurant, a garden and a bar with a large stone fireplace.

Clean, helpful staff, well located, lovely bed, shower had great pressure, awesome stay in general.

Set on expansive grounds, Fiordland Hotel is situated in Te Anau, 500 metres from the lake. The town centre is a 10-minute walk from the property. There are lake and mountain views from most rooms.

Location of motel was great, walking distance to town and lake. Chairs provided outside for sitting with morning coffee / drinks, generally chilling, taking in the views. Excellent kitchen provision. Great shower ! Very helpful staff , although the reception wasn’t manned at all times, you could still contact them by phone. Room seemed newly modernised.
