What an amazing place! Where do I even start? The location! The resort has a unique position on a little hill which means totally breathtaking unobstracted views of the Himalayas all for its guests! And you dont even have to go to the terrace you have these views directly from your room (the. bed!) Truly a dream! It is surrounded by a well kept garden.. flowers everywhere... I have had my sleep here no barking dogs, no passing cars... The food is wonderful as well, everybody is very friendly and helpful, you feel instantly at home and are very sad to leave. There are many beautiful walks all around. All in all a very special place where I hope to return one day.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel HighGround Inn, and it was an unforgettable experience! The host went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional, assisting us in organizing adventure activities and ensuring we were comfortable throughout. The food was absolutely delicious, with the included breakfast being a delightful bonus that truly elevated the experience. The stay was reasonably priced, offering incredible value for the hospitality and amenities provided. The highlight, however, was the breathtaking view from our room—absolutely stunning and worth every moment. It felt like a dream to wake up to such beauty. This stay wasn’t just a trip but an opportunity to make a lifelong connection with the wonderful hosts. I am eternally grateful for their warmth and hospitality. Where to start ? From the moment I booked the Hotel lake shore everything has been perfect. The communication on Whatsapp at every moment was kind and flawless especially thanks to Sanjog the manager. He took great care of us all along our journey in Pokhara (we ended up staying 8 nights), nothing was too much for him. We got picked up at the tourist bus station on arrival and dropped off the day of departure free of charge. The location of the hotel is perfect, street 6, close to the lake and all the attractions, restaurants etc. The rooms (we had several) are all perfect, comfortable, very clean, and with a good size. The rooms have everything you need, nice and comfy bed, kettle, tv, great bathroom with hot and powerful shower, plugs near to the bed, different lights but the special plus is the balcony with the view over the Machapuchare / fish tail ! The breakfast is also very good, plentyfull (especially if you take the english one) and the whole staff will just make you feel at home. They carry your lugage, bring water, towels, soap, toilet paper, plates, kitchen ware whatever on demand. Nothing seems ever too much for the people here. We've been travelling non stop for more than a year all around Asia and this hotel will stay in our top for a long time for sure. Last but not least, the value you get for the price you pay is unbeatable. Thanks again Sanjog and the whole team, if we ever come back to Pokhara we know where to go eyes closed !

Words can’t describe how much we enjoyed Hotel Karuna. The rooms have super comfy beds and wonderful lighting. Breakfast was incredibly tasty with little variations every day. But the best thing is the staff - ooooh, what a lovely bunch of people! Special thanks to the charming owner who supported us with gift shopping. Her eco-friendly, plastic-free approach is highly admirable. All said, Karuna has the perfect mix of local vibe and western standards. We extended our stay - but if you do so, better be quick as the hotel is particularly busy on weekends.

Buffet breakfast is amazing and varied (the main dishes change every day). Staff is friendly (upgraded our room for free 2 times) and there’s the cutest golden retriever dog welcoming you every day at the door. Location is perfect in Lakeside, all attractions/shops/restaurants within walking distance. Spacious room and bathroom, comfortable bed, bottles of water. Simply one of the best hotels we’ve booked in Nepal! NB: Don’t forget to try the amazing Belgian fries restaurant a 2-min walk from the hotel (called “The original Frituur No 1” on Google Maps), it was our best meal in Pokhara!

Tourist Residency is the ideal place to relax and get away from it all. Bimal and the staff there truly go above and beyond to make your experience memorable. Given the price, this place is an absolute steal. Enjoy the views overlooking Pokhara with a chai at all hours of the day. Breakfast is included and always delicious. The only potential draw back is the distance from the main drag (8-10m walk) but even then this helps keep the area quiet making it an even better restorative escape.
