A clean modern hotel with a huge room, quality fixtures and fittings, fully equipped with balcony, comfortable bed and an actual bath! The breakfast was massive, with a choice of either Sri Lankan or eggs, sausage and pancakes, along with fruit and toast. The hotel has a proper restaurant (unlike others that claim to) and we ate here one night. The food was delicious and plentiful, beer is available. The family are very happy and helpful, arranging tuk tuks and giving advice. Dambulla is a town without much to attract tourists, except the impressive cave temples and the international cricket stadium. The hotel is in perfect location for both by tuk tuk. Our visit coincided with an international match and the hotel is actually within walking distance of the stadium, about half an hour flat walk.

Our stay here was fantastic. The owner was exceptionally pleasant and helpful, arranging a complimentary pickup from the bus station to the accommodation. The beds were very comfortable, and the entire environment was impressively clean. They also prepared excellent, Sri Lankan-style breakfasts. It completely exceeded all our expectations for the price. Additionally, it's in a great location, within walking distance to the cave temple.

We stayed for 3 nights at Into the Wild and it was amazing. The staff is very hospitable and the rooms are clean. In the evening, you can have delicious cocktails while sitting at the bar and listening to background music. I would really recommend this stay at Into the Wild.

Great pool area with sun loungers, perfect for relaxing. Ruwan was fantastic at organising all our transport and events, can highly recommend the elephant safari and going for dinner at his brothers restaurant. Very helpful staff and great breakfast!

Quiet spot near Lion’s rock. Staff were ready to help at a moment’s notice and ready to fix anything for me. They helped book affordable transport and outings to Pidurangala rock and Minneriya Park. They weren’t upset when I said the WiFi wasn’t fast enough or the eggs were too salty— they helped me fix the problems immediately and I had fast WiFi and tasty eggs! The best hotel so far on our trip. Centrally located, with breakfast overlooking the incredible Lion Rock. Every day we were surprised with a delicious local sweet dish! so good! Clean rooms, with hairdryer and Smart TV. Dinusha was super helpful and arranged a tour for us to Sigiriya and Dambulla with Kumara, whom we 100% recommend. An excellent experience. We would definitely come back!
