The rooms were large and equipped with the basics. The location in the middle of Gruyeres is ideal. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating and made us feel very welcome.

Spacious room with a comfy double, upgraded for a balcony view. Everything was clean, the staff were super helpful. 2 minutes from the main town. If I visited again, I would 100% stay here.

The view from our room was very nice and the hotel is a great location to go for hikes and walks from. We were able to use to spa around the corner for free during our stay, which was great. Breakfast was also included and served downstairs in a lovely tea room. The staff in the tea room were all super friendly. There was also an italian pizzeria downstairs and a few other restaurants on the same street. Lots of places for fondue ! We did the "tour du lac" walk/hike one day from the hotel that was nice (12km 400m+) and also took the télécabine up vounetse.

We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful. The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

An exceptional wonderful holiday thanks to everyone at the Hotel de Ville. The location is ideal, central, quiet, 5 minutes walk from the railway station, buses, shops and restaurants. Rooms were beautiful, cosy, spacious, spotlessly clean with piping hot water, kettle and a fridge. The staff were warm, welcoming and did everything they could to ensure a lovely stay, including making sure our family rooms were next to each other. Exquisite food, from breakfast through to lunch in the restaurant. An added bonus was the generosity of the Pays D’Enhaut tourist office who issued free travel on trains and buses in the area to everyone staying at Hotel de Ville. This enabled us to see villages, mountains, glaciers and the most breath taking views and experiences one could ever wish for. Do not hesitate, this is the absolute jewel in the Bernese Oberland and very, very good value for money. Thank you for such a wonderful and unforgettable stay, we will be back.

Located 20 km away from Fribourg, Motel - Hôtel La Poularde is a 15-minute walk from the centre of Romont and the train station.
