Beautifully appointed hotel, excellent, patient and personable staff. Lisa at the front desk was so helpful and truly kind and friendly. The organic breakfast was beyond our expectations! We were able to park our car there on the morning of our arrival and take transit into Salzburg, which was very convenient, not to mention tremendously cheaper than finding parking nearer to the city.

Level 3 traveler-I looked forward to our second stay at BnB Villa Verde, this one 5 nights Dec 4-9th 2024 to see Christmas Markets/Krampus.Like staying with friends Alex & Iris are wonderful hosts-friendly,funny,informative.Boutique cozy feel, extra comfy king bed.Breakfast is scrumptious with made to order eggs and coffee service. Alex is sociable and outgoing yet balancing privacy.Located in quiet area one-way street adjacent to a brook and 7 min to main shop street.We stayed in Oct 23 and rebooked happily for our return,perhaps the best compliment. This accommodation definitely exceeded my expectations! The single room was just lovely; very clean and spacious with a very well-sized bathroom. The staff was so lovely and the breakfast had many healthy options, which was definitely a bonus compared to the more standard options we usually encounter in hotels. I loved my room so much, that I found it hard to say goodbye towards the end of my stay. Location-wise, it is situated very close to the centre (roughly 10 minutes away) but it is so much more quiet, which was an advantage. I will definitely stay here again when I re-visit Salzburg! To all the staff at Bergland Hotel; you are all doing an amazing job, thank you for the quality and level of hospitality you are offering!

We travel with out 1yo baby and the host offered a wooden baby crib, but he room is big enough even to fit a family of 4, if the sofa is extended. The bed is confortable and they clean the room and change towels each day. Very big bathroom. Everywhere is super clean the rooms, the restaurant and the terrace. The heating working very well. Our room was facing the street and I was a bit worried when I read the reviews about the noise coming from the street, but it was not the case, once you close the windows there is no noise coming from the outside, the room is sound proof. You can see in the kitchen when the doors open that everything, food is very good, the restaurant is always full. Beef noodle soup and goulash are great. Breakfast is one of the best, and if you want coffee or something which is not at the buffet (e.g. any kind of eggs, bacon, etc), they will prepare it for you, just ask for it.

Everything was good. Spar supermarket is near, the location is perfect. Early check in 15 euros, but worth it. Maybe english tv channel would be more good. The luggage locker is pretty cool. Thank you everything.

Incredibly nice staff, exceptional view from our balcony on the mountains. We were too late for breakfast but on checking out we were offered free drinks, pastry and fruits. The place really felt like home. We will definitely come back!

Also great for follow on travels south via Werfen for Sound of Music Trail and Hohenburg Castle (location of Shloss Adler in Where Eagles Dare).     Quiet location. Concierge was helpful with information about places to eat, transport, sightseeing. Check in was efficient. Free parking. City centre not far (not comfortably walkable but Salzburg has good public transport).

    Nice big rooms. The hotel location is far from the main city centre but very close to Untersberg (main tourist attraction). If you have a car then this location is not a problem. Breakfast was okay nothing special. Overall a good stay.

    Beautiful location, building, interior rooms and excellent staff. Breakfast presented very nicely and clean with nice variety. Not exactly sure why it is rated 3 stars as it felt more like 4 star quality at least.
