This small resort is located nearby a small village south of Colombo. Took about an hour and a half from the airport. The vibes were quiet, super chill and peaceful. The resort is right on the beach, and it's one of the best we hit up in Sri Lanka. All the staff were super friendly. The beach is gorgeous, but the waves were a bit gnarly for swimming when we were there, so we just hung out by the pool. The food was good overall, and you gotta try the seafood sizzling dish platter—it was bomb. Bed was very comfortable. We got lucky and saw a bunch of baby turtles hatching on the resort beach. We even helped some of the little dudes find their way to the ocean. All in all, it's a sweet and serene resort.

The place is spotlessly clean, and the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The staff are not only friendly but also extremely helpful, going above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience!

The super friendly host took the time to welcome us, give us tips for dinner, arranged a tuktuk and told us about the culture and way of Sri Lankan living. The apartment was spacious, very clean and near the beach. The pool and garden were very well maintained.

Villa River View is in an excellent location and gorgeous view of the river which makes it a peaceful retreat . The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

The trip was so good due to comfortable and friendly owner as well as staff especially Ms Bindu. Really helpful and made me very homely.

The property was very beautiful and we could just walk up to the beach anytime. The reception was super friendly and handled everything with efficiency. The rooms were clean and beautiful. The interior was very pretty. The pool was lovely. We had the dinner buffet. The restaurent staff was very welcoming. Two of my friends had dinner from the Al-carte menu and they were given a complimentary dessert because the rest of us were having buffet. The waiters were very attentive and provided us everything we required. Overall, we had a lovely stay because the staff was very attentive and acted swiftly whenever we needed something.
