Large well appointed room and spacious luxurious bathroom. Mr. Laksiri, as the manager was always present to ensure high quality along with young and capable front desk staff including Ashen. Mr. Pradeep made sure all housekeeping needs were satisfied. The pool man (forgot his name) became a friend. And, Chef Lalith was the star for us with his Michelin-caliber clean kitchen, prompt staff, and food that will make us come back for sure. Having stayed in numerous places around the world, this one really touched our hearts and easily became a home for 4 days. Thanks to all.

A tuk tuk to the city centre and back is approx 300 slr. You can stop by at keels for your groceries. Turtle hatcheries, water sports at some of the. Upmarket resorts, river safaries are all with a 10 min ride. You must stay at this property. The super friendly host took the time to welcome us, give us tips for dinner, arranged a tuktuk and told us about the culture and way of Sri Lankan living. The apartment was spacious, very clean and near the beach. The pool and garden were very well maintained.

The home is very welcoming and kept in pristine condition by Viraj and his lovely family. I would highly recommend staying at Villa River View as I had great advice on the local area and what to see in this beautiful part of Sri Lanka which I would have not found out as a solo traveller .

Very clean room and amenities. Very good and filling breakfast with a nice restaurant. Moreover, the property is just a stone throw away from the beach!
