It‘s owned by a very kind family, and you feel immediately like home there! Everything was squeaky clean, and the breakfast delicious! We stayed 3 nights before heading for our last day to Colombo, and it was the best decision we could ever make. Thank you for your hospitality! Until the next time!

We had a pleasant 2 days stay in this beautiful and stylish hotel with bespoke interiors and convenient location near the beach and not far from the Galle Fort. The hotel staff Varuni and Roshan were extremely helpful and nice. They helped us with our requests to make our stay the most comfortable. The breakfast prepared by the staff was delicious and nicely served. We look forward to staying in Taavetti Hotel again.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in Ahu Bay. We decided to end up our honeymoon spontaneously at the beach, so we were looking for a nice place in the surrounding of the airport, which is at the beachside and not a big hotel. And so Ahu Bay was definitely the right choice. It is a wonderful, modern and small hotel with delicious food and an almost private beach (at least in off season). The staff was super friendly and very attentive. Our room was big and we had the best rain shower we have ever had. And on top of that we had the perfect view over the ocean. Ahu Bay wants to save turtles. So there were baby turtles hatching out exactly when we were staying there. And in the evening hours they enabled us to let one of those one day old baby turtles go into the big ocean. That was an incredible feeling and you could see that also every single Ahu Bay employee was happy to watch that and maybe our baby turtle is the one out of thousand baby turtles that in 25 years will come back to this beach and will but their eggs on this beach.

Check-in was smooth, and the property is a hidden gem surrounded by nature. We were upgraded from the Lake Suite to the Sunset Pool Villa, which was stunning. The infinity pool was amazing, the food was delicious, and the 2-hour boat ride on the lake was unforgettable. Staff were very helpful and made the stay perfect. A 10/10 experience – highly recommended if you want to escape and disconnect.

They are not only gracious and accommodating but Nelson is an incredible chef. The best food we have had in Sri Lanka . His tiger prawns are the best I have had anywhere in the world!
