You can book free guided excursions on the Via Francigena path. It was exactly what was promised. An old building in the heart of Tuscany int the middle of an olive orchard. Unfortunately we only spent a night there and wished we could have stayed longer. The restaurant was also very nice with a nice view of the sunset over the hills. The rooms are extremely spacious, clean and beautiful. Overall, we would come back at anytime in a heartbeat

The property features pool and garden views, and is 16 km from Piazza Matteotti. The country house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. At the end of a Tuscany tour this was a lovely and peaceful setting in the heart of Chianti with some great views overlooking the vines, amazing food in the restaurant and some exceptional wines complete with a wine tasting and wine shop so we could return with some of the amazing Antinori wines from our trip. Staff such as Annalise were super nice looking after us and hosting our wine tasting. The receptionist also gave some great advice to visit Badia a Passignano which was a great way to spend our last morning too.

The rain shower is lovely and the coffee maker and tea kettle in the room was a bonus. Staff is very kind and helpful for any recommendations for local attractions (winery visits) or to assist with dinner reservations. Breakfast has something for everyone!
