It also helped that the snow was incredible and it couldn’t have been easier to get onto the slopes, a daily ski to Lech, Zurs, and even across to St Anton. The packed lunch on our departure day (early start) was also very thoughtful!

El Hotel Rössle es un establecimiento de gestión familiar situado en Au im Bregenzerwald, a solo 50 meters del remonte de Grunholz y a 2 km del teleférico de Diedamskopf, y ofrece un restaurante que... The breakfast was incredible with various options of different tastes. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The whole atmosphere is great, calm and very comfortable. I only can recommend this hotel as one of the best in the whole region.

The hotel is of very high quality, with an excellent location and breathtaking Alpine nature all around. The attention to guests is 10 out of 10. The local cuisine is delicious, the pool is perfectly clean, and so are the rooms. The attention to detail is remarkable – they even provide backpacks for hiking. The parking is convenient, which makes the stay even more comfortable.

El Hotel Lucia se encuentra a pie de pista, a 800 metros del centro de Damüls y a 350 metros de los remontes de Damüls-Mellau. Hay conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. I stayed in the Lucia for 2 Weeks at the start of Feb 2025. It is a nice modern styled hotel, conveniently located between the ski slope (top of Damuls) and the kitchen/ spar shop (middle of town). I was immediately welcomed and greeted with warm hospitality, and had no problem in communicating, even though my German is not very good. I even got free German lessons throughout my stay! The breakfasts were superb, fresh fried eggs every morning, and in the second week I was spoiled by delicious, heart warming 4 course dinners from Marlies & Martin. Marlies also kindly did my laundry for me throughout my stay! I thoroughly recommend this hotel for a vacation; Damuls-Mellau is a varied, quiet, unspoilt ski area that you will just want to keep coming back to. And hotel Lucia as well !
