Location was great. Quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Breakfast was tasty. Service was amazing. Always nice, available, ready to offer help.

The staff were so polite, friendly and willing to answer any questions! The daily upkeep and cleanliness of the room was phenomenal. Great breakfast too

We absolutely loved our stay at Essenza House! The location was perfect—within walking distance to the city center, yet in a calm and safe neighborhood. The bus stop was conveniently around the corner, making it easy to explore the city. Our room was spotless and well-maintained, with housekeeping available every morning. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with all the information we needed upon arrival and always available in case we needed anything. There were also some lovely cafés and restaurants nearby, which made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

There is no corner of Casa Monti (and we made sure to explore every corner!) where the designer hasn't created a charming vignette that winks at its home city and neighborhood. Even the hallway, usually the most boring part of any hotel, has wallpaper with hilarious mythological figures and carpet that pulls in the house color palette—mustard, vermillion, maroon, aqua, mint. We stayed in a two-bedroom suite, and it was a maximalist riot of upholstered walls, patterned divans, and purposefully mismatched marbles—yet a thoroughly restful and comfortable place to call home. We were traveling with my father-in-law for a homecoming to his hometown in Italy and his favorite thing about Casa Monti was how kind and authentic the staff throughout the hotel were. He felt completely welcome and at ease. We enjoyed cappuccinos in the first-floor bar when we dropped off our luggage, liquore di camomilla on the patio with the lion fountain on the way to check-in, a massage in the spa with an amazing panoramic view of Rome, drinks on the rooftop at sunset (highly recommend Il Girovago cocktail and fried zucchini blossoms!), and dinner with langoustine pasta in the restaurant upstairs (fourth patio of the day!) For breakfast, the eggs with fresh herbs and yogurt with whole hazelnuts was a treat. It was a short cab ride to Ponte Garibaldi to eat carciofi alla giudia for lunch and stroll around Trastevere for the afternoon. You can also walk downhill to grab a granita di caffe in the morning, and stroll up the Scalinata dei Borgia to see San Pietro in Vincoli with Michelangelo's Moses. The boutiques on Via del Boschetto and other side streets are great window shopping. And if you love amaro, the motherships Enoteca Angelini dal 1890 and Enoteca Chirra are just a stone’s throw away. I cannot wait to have an excuse to stay here again—or to visit Casa Monti’s sister hotels in France!

Everything was excellent. The staff, the location, the rooftop bar, the breakfast, and the room amenities. The cleanliness level was excellent. We really enjoyed our stay.

i loved the location of the property, is was close to everything! oh WOW and the interior decor of this hotel was beyond amazing, this hotel thought about everything and considered everything when it came to the layout and design of it. a true definition of modern design. it really gave you the sense of positivity. the staff were also very welcoming, friendly and very positive and always willing to help. Other great thing which is just make the whole experience so special, is when you are coming as a family with a child. they have in the bathroom a welcome kit for the kids, with toiletries and a bath rob. to a child this is so special and makes the whole experience super nice. i as a parent loved this being included in the rooms. the food is amazing at this hotel, the breakfast is very nice and simple and very healthy.

The property is at an amazing location , just few meters walking distance from the Colloseo and the Palantin Hills . The staff is extremely friendly and polite. The rooftop restaurant possess an amazing view of the Monument Victorio Emanuelle . Recommend it for everyone that wants to stay at a quiet place but located at the top Center of Rome !!
