If you choose the top 5 Hotel in Delhi, I suggest Taj Mahal as it is not too far from the sightseeings (just by taxi or Tuk-tuk). The only place you can walk is Khan Market (800 m). Breakfest is ok and there are 4 restaurants for dinner, not cheep as the hotel isnt't cheep, too. Good pool and wellness. Staff is polite, sometimes too polite (you need time for conversations)

The room was furnished to a high standard, quiet and comfortable. Check in was directly in the room and welcoming, smooth and efficient. Tea and coffee were brought promptly to the room. Dinner was superb and the chef immediately embraced our feedback when we informed him we prefer less salt. All in all another great experience. Appreciated the pick up from the airport after a long flight. When our train to Kalka was cancelled at the last moment the concierge made all the arrangements over night to make sure we had a car and driver on hand to drive from New Delhi to Shimla so we could get a good night’s rest and not worry about anything. Takeaway breakfast boxes were excellent.

The hotel was in a good location and quiet in the evening. The room was modern, clean, spacious and well designed. We had a good sized bathroom with a lovely bath. The staff were friendly and helpful and allowed us to leave our bags before check in. Thank you for a good stay for our time in Delhi.
