The Homestay is only a 15 minute walk to the old city centre and tuk tuks are easy to catch from a short distance away. We thought that the accommodation itself looked better than the photos. Breakfasts were nice and healthy and the staff were friendly and accommodating. The hosts offer any help and advice should you need it.

This historical palace sits amidst mango orchards and jasmine fields, 6 km from the scenic River Ganges.

The Bhadra Kali Guesthouse was located *just* on the most important ghat in Vārānasī, with amazing views to boot! We had our own balcony with a view straight on the Ganga and some temple towers to boot, could not have asked for anything better! Wide and comfortable bed (with the exception of the pillow which was shared for two people, a slightly weird arrangement - we didn't ask for anything else though!), hot water worked well, very good price, good food, helpful and friendly staff, everything was very okay indeed! The view from the roof terrace was even grander than the balcony, haha! Special thanks for helping us with our train tickets as we went on to Gaya and Bodhgaya! The staff helped us smooth and easy. :) An excellent choice all around! Heartily recommended!

This really is a great place, right in front of the Ghats and yet very quiet. The owner, his brother and the staff were really sweet and welcoming. The food served is amazing (especially the cheese omlette!). I like it so much i decided to stay few days longer :)

this is an excellent hotel to stay when in varanasi. The hotel is very busy but the staff are very friendly and go over and above to make your stay memorable and comfortable. The on site restaurant serves excellent food - we really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend this hotel. i would like to thank Riki, owais,nishant and asif for their care and attention to us and also all the staff in the restaurant who were so friendly and caring.
