There was nothing at all not to like. The room upgrade was an unreal way to start our stay at El Encanto. Staff super friendly and helpful. The wildlife inside the grounds included sloths, toucans, frogs, iguanas, lizards and bunch more birds. Central location 10 minute walk into town.

The place is just magical. The rooms are lovely and completely surrounded by the forest. You can hear howler monkeys in the morning :)

We loved the hotel because it was very cosy and the staff was just absolutely brilliant. They were kind, thoughtful and smiling ! so rare ! Well done ! We loved the pool, watching our favorite Netflix show on the tv while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We loved the breakfasts and the massage table ! We recommend this hotel. Bathroom and toilets are also clean and perfect.

We really enjoyed our stay at the resort. It was tranquil and felt truly authentic, right in the heart of the jungle. We could hear all kinds of wildlife around us, which made the experience even more special. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Everything was great. The location is beautiful on the beach and only few minutes from the town center, there are different restaurants from walking distance. The staff was nice and very helpful, the rooms always clean. There are 3 pool including one facing the beach, it’s a very relaxing and boutique beach resort like environment. They offer a lot of free activities with awesome instructors. I loved doing the yoga classes and aquagym, but also discovering aerial yoga/gym. There plenty of sloths within the hotel precincts which makes the experience even more magical.

Amazing place to stay! We loved our room (upper floor room) with a hammock and nice view over the garden. The resort area is very green and we could see cute agouties running around. Massage in spa was exceptionally good! Stuff was very helpful and welcoming. We tried also sushi restaurant and it was also really good. Location is nice: the beach is just across the street, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. 20 min walking to the supermarket and about 30-40 min to the town (or 5 min with Uber). We could also rent a bike if we stayed more nights at the hotel. The hotel offers also some activities like yoga classes, but we were too lazy to attend)). The breakfast was a pleasant surprise: good options (eggs, fruit, yoghurt, pancakes and a lot more). To sum up, we really enjoyed staying at the resort. I was surprised that it’s only 3 stars. I think it’s worth much more.

This is a brand new hotel! It’s gorgeous - Has a great pool and bar/cafe area. The rooms are clean and spacious. And the staff was excellent! We were happy to stay here. It’s a great location too.
