Everything, perfect location, great rooms, excellent staff. Oh, and while we were there a mother sloth and her baby, and a male sloth were literally hanging around on the property. Marvellous.

We had a fantastic time here. The place is peaceful and so beautiful! We were in the chalet “experiencia” where it feels like you’re sleeping in the forest but you’re protected inside (lot of monkeys in the forest 😍)! Best breakfast we had in a long time! Everything is homemade, organic, healthy and also it varies each morning. Betty and Jessica are the best, it was a 5star service, they are extremely helpful and nice. They offer multiple services: laundry, massages, guide, a cook that comes over prepare your dinner, etc. We asked to have dinner there, a very kind lady came over and cooked a fantastic dinner. It is very well located not even 5min from Cahuita. Thank you Betty and Jessica, for sure we will come back.

it was great! the bed was comfy, the shower was the best I had in Costa Rica, the pool was clean and actually refreshing, fast and stable internet, the breakfast buffet was excellent and everybody was super friendly and helpful. we used the laundry service in the evening and got it back the next morning. we rented a motorbike, which was a great deal and we enjoyed it a lot. the bicycles looked good too, all new and in a good condition.

Look no further, book this place - we had the best stay! Firstly, it is the best location, short drive to Puerto Viejo but also walking distance of plenty of great restaurants and supermarkets nearby, you can even walk to the Jaguar Rescue. It feels like you're right in the jungle, the landscaping around the hotel is done so well, with the boardwalks through the trees, so all rooms feel really private and quiet and there is wildlife including sloths right amongst the trees in the hotel! Breakfast was great, and in the best spot looking right at the beach. The pools were lovely (we found three during our stay) and all the beach loungers etc. Staff were all really friendly and helpful and nice. DO NOT MISS the morning wildlife walk with the Jungle Man!! We saw eleven sloths in one hour as well as toucans, monkeys and much more! That guy is a legend.

This was by far the best hotel ive stayed at during my whole trip. It was beautiful, clean, quite, room (and bed) super big and the staff was super nice. Especially Luís and Andrés were amazing and helped me a lot! I would def recommend staying here!

The lodge is beautifully located in a large, dense forest. Each house has in the front a porch with a sofa and hammock, a large living/sleeping area inside, and an enormously big bathroom with a shower. As the houses are open with no windows but anti-insect nets, so you live and sleep immersed in the jungle outside. The experience is outstanding! You can hear birds signing in the morning and howlers howling in the night ;) There are multiple paths you can walk around the property and spot different animals and birds. The beach can be easily accessed through the gate and across the street in 5 min. walk. Breakfast is served in the restaurant in the open air space and is a costarican variation of continental breakfast. It is tasty and plentiful. The staff is very helpful, proffesional and engaged, both at the front desk as in the restaurant.
