Great hotel near the Yamagata Station, about 5 minutes walk. The room was quite spacious and clean. It was easy to comunicate with the staff as they spoke perfect English. For breakfast we had to choose Western style set or Japanese style. We liked everything about our stay. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect choice for your hiking, skiing, onsen, snow or simply relaxing trip in Zao Onsen. -Location is the best, i literary removed my skis in front of the hotel door after the last slope. The hotel provides space to dry your boots and gloves and store your gears/skis. This hotel is the perfect hotel for skiers and snowboarders. It is in front of multiple gondolas and ski-lifts in Zao Onsen resort. Nearby there are restaurants, ski rental shops and many public bath / Onsen. The hotel is 15 minutes walk to a convenience store ( Lawson) and I personally walked 15 minutes from Zao Onsen bus station to the hotel when I first arrived. - Room was comfortable, spacious, warm and simple. The temperature can be adjusted with an heather. It wasn’t my first time sleeping on the Japanese Futon, and I love it every time. if you want to enjoy Japanese culture this is a good start! Wifi works perfectly. -bathrooms are clean and never crowded. -Staff is wonderful. Ryo and the lady working in the hotel are super kind and sweet. They are very nice and helpful. They will help you in everything you need during your stays. They will recommend you the best onsens, how to rent your skis, how to get your ski pass ticket, how to get to the top on the mountain in 45 minutes like a Japanese to see the snow monsters! To get to the hotel there a many buses during the day from Yamagata station to Zao Onsen bus terminal. From the bus terminal I waked to the hotel with my bag and boots and is not difficult for me even with lots of snow on the road. But there are some taxis to book. Thank you, see you soon

ユニテ蔵王ジョーニダ リゾート, ubicado en Yamagata, cerca de Centro de esquí Zao Hotsprings, tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis, estacionamiento privado gratis y acceso a un hidromasaje. The hotel is pretty and pleasant, and check-in was straight forward. The room was well-designed and comfortable, and parking was convenient. They also provided a free ticket to the public onsens in town, which was a nice touch, and a light breakfast for free as well (tea/coffee/juices with small croissants and cake, which were suprisingly tasty).

Takasagoya Ryokan está ubicado en Zao Onsen. El ryokan 3 estrellas ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado, baño compartido y wifi gratis. La cocina es exquisita, me encantó y la disfruté muchísimo, tanto la cena como el desayuno. El trato del personal también súper amigable y atento y la ubicación a un par de minutos hablando de la parada de autobuses.

Petit Resort Hotel Der Barte es un alojamiento 3 estrellas ubicado en Zao Onsen, a 8 minutos a pie de Centro de esquí Zao Hotsprings, y tiene un jardín, un restaurante y un bar. Fantastic location, right on Uwanodai slope - actual ski-in ski-out. Host was extremely friendly and helpful, the food in the restaurant was great and good value. Nice draught beer! Shower in room with a shared hot bath that could be booked for free. There's a ski/boot room in the basement that opens onto the slope. The decor is a bit dated but in a very charming way.

El Miyamaso Takamiya está situado a 10 minutos a pie del teleférico de Zao Sky Cable y cuenta con 9 baños termales naturales. Very nice, old style but classic hotel. Staff very supportive and food was very good
