Everything is maintained and taken care of to the highest levels. It's clean and wiped down beyond the level of a 5 star hotel. The equipment, especially in the kitchen, are of great quality and the furniture are warm and welcoming. There is a beautiful Woodburner along with a fantastic view outside. Even the shower pressure is impressive! The homeowner is extremely kind and helpful. It seems to me that he prioritizes his property and spends his time taking care of his guests. He provides fantastic extra services and complementaries everywhere. I even noticed that the bathroom is stocked with everything you will need and of good quality too, like the shower gell and shampoos (yes several kinds of shampoos not just one) are actually great in quality! He has also made us amazing mountain tea with honey just because he was welcoming and enjoying his guests 1- extremely clean 2- fantastically welcoming 3- equipment are of high quality 4- kitchen is stocked with everything you'd need and more 5- bathroom is great and has many things you'd use 6- furniture are cozy and the beds are HUGE 7- Fresh air and beautiful spaces around the property 8- free parking 9- kind and welcoming house owner 10- thoughtful in everything you use in the house

Nestled in a delightful area, the hotel’s surroundings invite exploration, perfectly complementing the vibrant allure of Velden am Wörthersee. The pool, a sparkling gem, offered moments of pure relaxation, its serene ambiance elevating every dip into a small escape. Breakfast was a daily joy, with an array of fresh, thoughtfully prepared dishes that awakened the senses and set the tone for the day. The rooms—oh, the rooms—were nothing short of stunning, each detail crafted to inspire awe, blending elegance with an inviting warmth that made leaving them bittersweet. The staff, with their genuine kindness and impeccable attentiveness, transformed every interaction into a moment of connection, making us feel truly cherished. And the convenience of on-property parking was a seamless touch, ensuring every arrival and departure was effortless. I didn’t actually read them. I just looked at the pictures of the room. The price, I’d say, was the best value of anything on the entire lake. It was the only place that really seemed to be on the lake, where you could actually do things on the lake, not just look at it. A lot of places you couldn’t even go in the water—no lake access, or maybe just sunbathing. It’s clear a lot of love went into this place when it was built. The whole property is very thoughtfully developed. There’s a distinct yellow and blue color theme throughout—stickers, signage, even the color of the boats. Even the e-bike charger in the bike room was yellow and blue. Yeah, they have a charging station for e-bikes. The umbrellas are yellow. The chairs are blue. There are tons of different room layouts, spread across lots of buildings. We were fortunate—I’d say we had one of the best rooms. It was a little studio layout with a small kitchen. The kitchen was simple but functional. Our studio had doors that opened onto a terrace, fully enclosed by dense ivy—looked like ivy, anyway. From the terrace, you could see out to the lake. And beyond that, the mountains. On the other side? Slovenia. Bathroom was complete—modern and all in one room. Kitchen looked brand new. There’s an espresso machine, but note: you might want to bring some favorite things from home—aluminum foil, plastic zip bags, salt, pepper, spices, etc. They also provided a nice little bottle of champagne (sect), dish soap, and some kitchen supplies. Our room was right near the sauna area—almost part of it. There was a sauna, showers, a small pool to relax in. A tiny fitness area—enough to get the job done. A breakfast buffet was not included—eggs, bacon (crispy, good). They also had: Table tenni, Boats, A DVD collection you could borrow - DVD player in the room.

The host was amazing, super friendly, very uncomplicated with checking in and out. She really made us feel at home. We will definitely visit this beautiful house again

This was an amazing place, among the best we have ever booked on booking. First of all, Alexander is super friendly and accommodating. If we needed something we could always ask him. We were in Velden to take part in a bike race and he let us stay the whole day of check-out such that we could still take a shower, eat and pack our stuff after the finish. The appartment itself is great: lots of space, very clean and modern, large comfy double-bed, big well-equipped bathroom (including shampoo, soap, towels, etc), and with a modern kitchen that has everything you need to cook (including delicious olive oil from own production!). Finally, the location is just perfect, right in the middle of Velden, walking distance to the lake, but still a quiet and green environment in the backyard of a bigger villa. Highly recommended!

The owners are very kind and will make sure that your stay is as good as can be.
