The area is famous for outdoor activities like skiing and hiking. We have arrived late in the evening and although a misunderstanding was made on room reservation, reception staff was very helpful in sorting out the problem. We switched the room the next day and everything was excellent. The hotel is quite new, with very nice and large and comfortable rooms. We have an infrared cabin in our room that we used every day after being on the ski slopes. We did travel with a small dog and staff was very friendly and helpful to accommodate the pet and daily room housekeeping. Breakfast was tasty, with a good selection for all tastes. Hotel has Venetia Restaurant on ground floor, which was very convenient for dinning out or order some pizza if too tired after a day of skiing. Free parking on location

The local ski lift can be reached on foot in 5 minutes. A ski bus stop can be found in front of the property. Rofan Ski Region is a 2-minute drive away. Lake Achen is 1.5 km away. Achensee Golf Club can be reached by car in 20 minutes. Convenient location. Nice room in traditional style. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Free parking. Very friendly staff.

Fürstenhaus Am Achensee is a 4-star superior hotel located right on the shore of Lake Achen, offering panoramic views of the Alps. The 3,000 m² spa area features indoor and outdoor pools with mountain views, various massage showers, and a large hot tub right above the lake. During check-in the staff provided full information regarding services the hotel offers and timing. The check-in itself was very smooth only 2 mins. Organisation of facilities of hotel spa and spa area. Great place to stay for relaxation and recreation. The rooms are huge, and well organised. Will definitely stay there again.

Skiing, windsurfing and cycling are possible within the area, and Camping Inntal offers ski storage space. The cabin is awesome, the best sleep I got in Austria! The bathroom and showers are very nice, the heating in the cabin works great. The restaurant is beautiful and very good. They have a small shop where you can purchase milk and groceries for the day.

We discovered this hotel and its location completely by chance — and it turned out to be an absolute gem. The entire setting is beautifully designed, with attention paid to every detail. Although the hotel is quite spacious, the way it’s laid out gives it a cozy, almost boutique feel. The wellness area is truly exceptional. We especially appreciated the textile-free zone and were pleasantly surprised by how respectfully other guests behaved — it created a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The food was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional, and the facilities cater equally well to those seeking an active holiday or pure relaxation. We loved that you can borrow bikes, trekking poles, and backpacks — we took advantage of the bike rental and everything was in perfect condition and super easy to arrange. All in all, this is genuinely one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at — and we travel a lot. Highly recommended!
