Raul is the greatest host! Really nice and funny, always looking to help or pour you a glass of chacha. The guesthouse is a really old house, with a magnificient dining room. Room was clean and beds were good. I had a really nice and tasty dinner and breakfast. Overall a really nice place to spend the night when you trek from Mestia to Ushguli!

Loved breakfast and dinner the food was absolutely incredible. Our host is a phenomenal cook. She even left a bag for us to take some food to go which saved us on our hike the day we left. The property was spotless and perfectly functional. Loved staying there and would again. Their spring for water was delicious and kept us hydrated throughout the hike.

Absolutely amazing guesthouse in Zhabeshi. Exceeded expectations in all areas, hospitality, location and food. The guesthouse and food were both hands down the best we had during the trek to Ushguli! Highly recommend:)

I stayed here while trekking from Mestia to Ushguli and this was by far the best guesthouse I stayed in during the 5 days. Medea is an absolute star - she picked me up from Iprali, even though the road conditions were terrible and she made sure I was completely comfortable throughout my stay. Bath robes and slippers are available in the rooms (which is not the norm in guesthouses along the trekking route). The meal service was absolutely fantastic - fresh and varied food, including handmade pizza which Medea learned to make during her years living in Italy. Although the guesthouse is not directly in Iprali, it is absolutely worth staying here if you are trekking. Medea provides a level of service and comfort that you just will not find elsewhere.

The host family is very welcoming and friendly. We had wonderful delicious selfmade food. You live with the family in their home so we got a real feeling of living in a still quiet remote village.

Very kind people. The location is a perfect stop on the hike from Mestia to Ushguli. They served us breakfast (25 lari per person) and dinner (30 lari per person). It was the best food we ate in Svaneti and the portions were enormous.

Risa was the best host during my Mestia-Ushguli hike. She is really kind and even tho communication was hard I felt home and wish I had more days to stay at her place. There is a lovely garden and the views over the mountains are amazing. I also had great food and the best khachapuri in Georgia. The beds are comfortable and there is a bedside lamp which makes the room really comfortable at night. She also prepared a lunchbox which was really helpful for the hike. I would come back to Georgia just to stay with Risa again! Also the value for the money was just amazing - especially compared to the other overpriced guest houses in other villages.
