This exceeded all of my expectations, the setting was amazing, the service was friendly and excellent. We booked the hot tub and sauna and it was totally worth it, we went in the ice hole in the frozen lake and then straight into the sauna to warm up! A completely unique experience for me. The food was phenomenal, we had the best nights sleep and to top it all off we saw the northern lights!

Beautiful view into the forrest from terrace with reindeers if you're lucky. Very nice and cosy place for vacation. A lot of hiking routes and trails nearby.

The apartment is very cozy and located very close to the ylläs ski resort and some hiking trails and a supermarket is 3 minutes by foot away. It's interior is lovely and the private sauna made our stay even better.

The Dasher Apartment is amazing and a perfect size for a family of 4 (we were 2 adults and 2 children). We loved the location. It was about a 15 minute walk into the centre of Akaslompolo. We had a car so did a mixture of both. The cabin is really well equipped and everything a family needs is provided - I would advise anyone with younger children to have a chat with Jane about what is available and it will save you packing half your house! The single beds were a good size and lots of spare pillows if you needed them. The cabin was lovely and warm. Communication with Jane (the owner) was excellent. We cooked in most evenings and found we had everything we needed. Coffee (and filters), seasoning, condiments, herbs and spices were all available to use. You can use the log burner (we didn't). There is plenty of storage space and the washing machine and cupboard dryer was a godsend! Loved the sauna. There are sleds in a box on the veranda at the back. You have access to the ski storage area near the car parking to store ski equipment. We loved it so much that we are planning our return visit in 2024.

The Lapland Hotel Ylläskaltio provides functional accommodation with ski routes and sledding tracks starting right outside the door. A ski shuttle is available from the front of the hotel.

Well situated; near the lake, which is an excellent spot for Northern lights (w/o street lighning) and very close to good Snowfunsafari where we booked all our excursions, next door to a gourmet restaurant Poro. The breakfast of the hotel if excellent, large variety of dishes. We enjoyed local and continental breakfast (our doughters loved the self made gauffres :-) We did not test the dinner. We also loved there were available slides and local "potkuri" to have a ride on the snow.

Korpikelo - Warm Wood and Enchanted Forest: A log cabin in a fairy-tale forest. We found ourselves living in a very welcoming, warm, and comfortable place. The owners are people who genuinely care for their guests; everything is well-maintained, and everything works seamlessly, from the sauna to the heating, the fireplace, the furnishings, and all other amenities. For the beauty of the surroundings and the magic of the forest, I thank the creator, and for the well-being, care, and the warm welcome of the cabin, I thank the owners. We had a great time and were even fortunate enough to witness a stunning aurora!
