It was the perfect historical setting. The grounds were so beautiful to walk, watch the swans, or sit at the big window (if raining) and enjoy the gardens. It’s still close enough to town to see the sites or take a tour then return to a relaxing home. Sharing a house and meeting other travelers was a bonus. Most of all, we enjoyed our evening with the host (Mark) and his son (Harry) sharing stories. We highly recommend staying at the Shannon River House.

Lovely pod - I was worried it would be too cosy for a family of 6 but we had plenty of room. It also had everything we needed for a one night stay - just wished we'd had more time there! Farm was great - lots to see and do which the kids (aged between 7 and 14) loved, especially the chocolate!

Desayuno bueno, y Sandra fue muy amable. Íbamos 4 y es muy amplio.

Luxury Country Escape está en ubicado Ennis, a 8,8 km de Castillo de Dromoland, a 20 km de Castillo y Parque Folclórico de Bunratty y a 33 km de Thomond Park, y tiene alojamiento con wifi gratis. We loved our stay at Lynda's place. In fact it was our favourite accommodation in Ireland. After weeks of staying in tiny rooms with tiny bathrooms in other places the space at Lynda's was our first comment - big showers, big rooms and enough space to spread out. Netflix on the TV, extras to make your stay pleasant and a warm welcome from Lynda and her family (including the dogs and the chicken.) My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Great place, thanks for having us.

Beautifully furnished apartment with all the facilities you need. Incredibly comfortable bed and complimentary WiFi added to a perfect stay.
