Super comfy bed, curtains allowing dark bedroom. Big boiler, clean&well working shower. Small kitchen but well equipped. We were just missing the oven. The guest family is super nice and helpful, we felt welcome from the first second. The house is located in a beautiful spot, up a small hill from the road with a nice view. There's also a large vegetable and flower garden and one of our highlights was the access to the river where you can take a bath in the ice cold water after a long day of hiking or just hang out in the hammocks and drink some fresh mountain water from the spring next to it. There are also two cats that are insanely cute and some chickens and cows from time to time. We would recommend this place 100% for anyone who enjoys nature and a cozy, farm-like atmosphere. We even ended up staying an extra night here.

From my room, I could see the cathedral, the mountains, and the sunrise — absolutely breathtaking! The balcony is a real gem, offering stunning views of both the sunrise and the sunset. Truly magical! The room itself was spotless, cozy, warm, and filled with natural light — incredibly comfortable. But without a doubt, the true highlight of my stay was meeting Tea, Lia, and their family. They are wonderful people — warm-hearted, generous, and genuinely welcoming. I felt completely at home. Featuring a shared lounge and views of quiet street, Givi Kakhiani's Svaneti Guesthouse is situated in Zhabeshi, 15 km from Mikhail Khergiani House Museum. It is located 12 km from Museum of History and Ethnography and provides a shared kitchen. Guests can make use of the children's playground or the picnic area, or enjoy views of the garden and city. On the whole trek from Mestia to Ushguli, this was probably the nicest guest house we had.
