Kooringa was a beautiful comfortable cottage with a lovely host called Arlene. There was absolutely everything we needed for a great stay. The bed was very comfortable with electric blankets plus a split system in the bedroom as well as the loungeroom so we were toasty warm. The shower was also great, roomy, spotless and with little extras including a shower cap, electric heater, hair dryer etc Arlene also provided cereal, bread, butter, condiments, milk and juice for a nice breakfast and the bread was so nice we had 4 pieces each. There were so many extras including local information, magazines and books to read and when we had a shower there were comfy robes to put on. The entire home was spotless and the gardens were also lovely and it would have been nice to have had more time to sit and relax. We will definitely stay again next time we are travelling through Burra.

The house itself was generously equipped with breakfast provisions and wine. The beds were very comfortable and the whole ambience was very restful. The pool was a hit with the grandchildren, but the evenings were still cool enough for a cosy fird.

The host lent us a cutting board and some paper plates/ napkins to use at our picnic. The foods left for breakfast ( bacon, eggs, bread, butter, jam, cereal, milk) were very welcome! The coffee was great! Thank you Lots of local information was available.
