We had a truly wonderful stay at this family-run guesthouse located near a peaceful river — the sound of the flowing water was so calming, especially after busy days in Kathmandu. The family lives on the property and welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their son greeted us with welcome drinks and later invited us for a lovely morning walk to a nearby temple. His mother prepared delicious breakfasts on the veranda with a stunning view. The whole family was incredibly kind and even invited us to join their son’s birthday celebration and a local festival, which made our stay unforgettable. It’s a quiet and relaxing place with no traffic noise — only the soothing sound of the river. We would love to come back one day! On the photo you can see the family and us. Plus the veranda and the view where we had our breakfast.

The hotel service was really good. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and everything was well managed. Yangla is a beautiful place to relax. The apartment was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The place is very close to Stuoy Boudha and all amenities. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance.

In the Patan district of Pātan, close to Patan Durbar Square, Lalitpur Inn has a shared lounge and a washing machine. It is located 4.1 km from Hanuman Dhoka and offers a lift.

Very clean bedsit apartment with all you need to stay. Neighbourhood is non-touristy but lots of small shops and stalls, and you can walk down to Patan restaurants in less than 10 mins. I would dock a point or two because the apartments all face the (not very busy) back-street and it's a little noisy if you're a light sleeper as it's single-glazed. But the staff were so nice and helpful, I'll bump the score back up to a nine.

Lemon Tree Apartment is truly one of the best places to stay in Kathmandu. I had a very pleasant stay—everything was clean and well-maintained. The owner is exceptionally kind and helpful, even providing me with useful travel information. The apartment is located in a peaceful residential area, and a local shopping market is just a short walk away. I was able to buy fresh vegetables, fruits, and groceries at very affordable prices, which I then easily cooked in the apartment’s fully equipped kitchen. Local transportation is easily accessible, and there are also options for online car or bike rentals. I had my own car, and parking was conveniently available at the apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, and the view from the balcony is absolutely beautiful. Whenever I return to Kathmandu, I will definitely stay here again. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and peaceful stay.

Located in a quiet area, yet a few minutes walk away from all kinds of shops and a huge supermarket. This house is very spacious and full of daylight. The kitchen is equipped to cook a good meal, also a blender. Filtered water available. The place is kept clean. I stayed in a single room and also the queen room. Both rooms were spacious. Clean bathroom with hot water. Towels provided. The host was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay. It felt very safe and peaceful.

The location is excellent, everything is close to shops and museums. The hotel is very conveniently located in the center of Lalitpur. If you want an active holiday, then this place is very suitable. The room is cozy, the staff is helpful and friendly, the food in the restaurant is excellent, tasty and homemade.
