Appartement rénovation is really great and globally a must and house déco so cute and authentic. Bed is large and very comfortable, All was so clean, room is exceptionnal with private terrasse. Stunning, historic and pet-friendly residence, with very comfortable hotel-standard rooms and apartments, hosted by a truly charming couple. From the moment we arrived, Daniela and Elvezio could not have been more welcoming, meeting us at the car and making us feel so comfortable in their lovely, beautifully renovated home. Our room was large, impeccably clean, and exceptionally comfortable, with every possible amenity and even a balcony overlooking the garden and pool (although it was a little too snowy to use ;-). Breakfast was simply superb, with home-cooked bacon and eggs, and a huge selection of pastries, fruit and more. We'd love to return and see more of the area around Casa Violetta on our next stay!

Cute balcony to enjoy coffee or a meal with a view of the medieval castle, Rocca di Angera (well worth a visit!). Immaculately presented, spacious apartment. Huge, comfortable super king-sized bed. Smart TV with access to Amazon Prime and YouTube. Large kitchen with coffee machine. Brand new bathroom with a shower worthy of a luxury hotel. Excellent location: Angera is a delightful, low-key lakeside town with a port offering boat trips all around the lake. The apartment is just a two-minute walk from a great supermarket, a bakery, the lakefront, the local food market (Thursday mornings—a must-visit), and the best pizzeria in all of Lake Maggiore (De Vita Pizzeria, truly deserving of its many five-star reviews online!). Best host I’ve ever encountered in all my travels! We arrived at Milan Malpensa airport at night in the pouring rain with huge bike boxes, only to discover that the minivan airport transfer we had booked was a scam. Our host performed nothing short of a miracle by calling around and arranging a friend of a friend with a minivan to pick us up and bring us to Angera. Without this above-and-beyond help, we would have been stranded. Be warned! A scam company, COSMO S.N.C. di Meloni Stefania, operates multiple fake taxi websites that take bookings and payments but never show up: airportstaxitransfers.com, milan-airport-transfers.com, and olbiaairporttaxi.com. We successfully used transfeero.com for our return trip to the airport with oversized luggage.

Our stay at Carrera Living was simply wonderful. This charming place is spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could need for a carefree holiday — from convenient parking and an in-room safe to all the little touches that make you feel at home. The host is the perfect embodiment of the Italian spirit — someone who truly knows how to enjoy life and makes you feel part of it too. He welcomed us with genuine warmth and took care of every detail: fresh coffee and tea, delicious biscuits for breakfast, and even a rich library stocked with maps and brochures to help you discover every hidden gem in the area. Mornings at Carrera Living are magical — you wake up to the sound of church bells and step onto a terrace with a beautiful view over the picturesque town. Don’t miss dining at Rustorante Il Piccantino Pizzeria nearby by car — the atmosphere, service, and food are simply delightful. If you’re dreaming of an authentic Italian stay where you can slow down and savour every moment, Carrera Living is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!
