We stayed 3 days at la Muñequita Lodge and it was just a wonderful experience. We have been very warmly welcomed by Heyner and his wife, they are both kind and are truly interested in people and sharing their culture. The place is so peaceful and true Costa Rican lifestyle in the middle of the goats, cows and chickens. Our Lodge was a big wodden cabina type with 2 separated bedrooms; filling and yummy breakfast are taken at Heyner and his wife's house where we can happily chat ans learn about nature, fruits they are growing... Also they offer dinner at their house as well if you want, we have eaten there the 3 nights we were there and the food was just delicious sharing the table with any other guests in the 2nd lodge. Our 2 kids 4 & 2 y.o loved being among the goats and cows and could feed them amd watch the milk so thank you Heyner and the whole farmer's team for taking the time to show us around... During the day you have couple of options, many parks around piernas blancas, corcovados or beaches playa de las Ventanas... We and the kids had an amazing time and can only recommend highly to stop by to have a true ans Unique Costa Rican experience.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cocodrilo, which is why we have extended our stay twice. Stephanie, the owner of this beautiful place, is wonderful and goes above and beyond for her guests to make them feel at home and make sure they have everything they need. When we told her that we are vegan she acted promptly and even prepared a vegan breakfast for us which changed daily. Stephanie loves what she does and takes time for her guests, which we really appreciated as in this way we got a glimpse of Costa Rica's culture. On top of this amazing personal experience the place and facilities have always been immaculate and the bed including the pillows were very compfy, which was often not given in other places we stayed in Costa Rica. This location is great to take a tour to Corcovado Nationalpark or through Central Amerikas biggest Mangrove Forest and Stephanie helps to organise them if you need help. You can also get this location by bus as there is a local bus from Palmar Norte several times a day. Tip: simply let the bus driver know that you want to get off at Cocodrilo in Sierpe and he will stop just in front of the hotel. All in all, it is a fantastic place to stay and also to hang out in the pool or hammocks. We highly recommend Cocodrilo and would stay here any time again.

Relaxing break away. Great stop if your wanting to visit the World Heritage Costarican Spheres. George was an excellent host, giving us loads of info regarding the various archaeological sites which were nearby. Accommodation was excellent. Huge comfy bed, huge bathroom, great kitchen and a balcony we used a lot watching the Macaws in the trees overlooking a beautiful valley. Accomm can comfortably fit 4. Valles of OSA is on top of a hill with a driveway about 30m and easily negotiable in an AWD. We ended up extending our stay to 2 nights. You won’t regret staying here, the views are amazing, hospitality that was extended to us was exceptional and it was definitely value for money. We loved our stay. Do yourself a favour and don’t go past this accommodation!

Our stay at this apartment was absolutely wonderful! The place was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped with all the amenities we needed. The location was ideal, conveniently close to the ferry dock. Our host, Adriana, warmly welcomed us and went above and beyond with her kindness and attention, even helping us resolve an issue with our laundry. We had a very nice time at Morpho House. Due to a last minute cancellation, we had to reserve the house on the very day and Valeria was quick to respond. She also sent us all the useful information. Having been welcomed personally on arrival, we also had a personal check out. There is everything you need in the kitchen as well as a pleasant sitting area. Besides, the bathroom and bedroom are spacious. Altogether, a very comfortable house in a quiet area: we would strongly recommend staying there.
