I loved this property and would love to return. My host was lovely and welcomed my three pets and took the time to have a chat. The wooden house is cosy and comfortable, and pet friendly.

On approaching the hotel after parking our car my grandson exclaimed that it looked just like a castle ! And he was right. The reception area was very spacious - long marbled floor hallway with elegant sitting areas and play areas for the children (games and books) with the dining restaurant and breakfast room situated off the hallway; very light and spacious. Ermelo itself was a short drive away with plentiful places to eat outdoors, many people taking advantage of this being a Saturday night. Lots of people on their bikes, hardly any cars most being left in the parking areas. We are looking forward to returning in December.
We loved staying in this property, which had extensive grounds. They contacted us in advance and offered us a choice of rooms. The rooms are located in either the main building or in separate buildings. We had a lovely, historic room with a small sitting area. While there were other bedrooms in the building there was no noise transfer. breakfast was exceptional, with a large buffet, offering many choices in the beautiful main dining room. We appreciated being able to dine on site the previous evening.
Very nice place to stay, it has both easy access to the nature and the convenience of small supermarket, restaurant and swimming pool within the area. The little house is well equipped and the staff were friendly.
(We took the bus between Ermelo station and Paalberg and it was fine. Be careful with the timing as it is not frequent and it does not hurt to be a bit earlier than the timetable.)
The code to the lockbox was sent in advance and worked well. Room to park 2 cars. Lovely yard. Nice kitchen (although there is no microwave or freezer). Living room was big and the chairs were comfortable. Good WiFi. Quiet neighborhood. We accidentally locked the keys in the house and the hosts retrieved them for us and returned them to the lockbox.
Easy access and excellent location, close to the city of Ermelo and other campings with restaurants and activities! The host was really friendly and helpful. The house had most facilities, including soaps, kitchen equipment, outdoor furniture, even board games and books. Perfect for a relaxing, peaceful vacation!
It was the second time my son and his girlfriend stayed here, and they enjoyed it for the second time better.
The host was friendly and helpful. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. And breakfast was sufficient and good. We are definitely coming back.
The location is indeed very private. Hot tub is spacious and well integrated with the house. Kitchen is well equipped, although a freezer would have been a nice addition. Bathroom with scrub salt etc was very nice.
